One of my favorite restaurants in Newport! I’ve been twice, and both times were amazing! Delicious pasta and pizza, cute... ambience, friendly service, fair prices! We stopped in for dinner on a Monday night and the restaurant was jumping. Hostess was able to squeeze us in and was very... friendly. The atmosphere and interior design was awesome. We sat in front of the bar and could see some people outside enjoyingthemselves in the patio area. Vegan options are available here which was great. We ordered the grilled salmon (husband says itwas cooked to perfection) and I ordered the pomodoro basil pasta and it too was excellent. Also both had a cider which was alsovery good. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. We enjoyed our dinner and definitely recommend it if you are in the area. Weparked in the public parking lot that is adjacent to the restaurant. Read more
This is a really fun place to visit with a great atmosphere, layout, well-trained staff and even music at the perfect volume.... The only problem with it is that it might be a place that is owned or run by the popular kids from school. They got everythingright from the beers to the wine list and it is clearly a trendy place. But nobody is checking the food as it goes out. Everyplate goes out without being inspected and the food is not well seasoned or flavorful. It is not bad, it is just the worst thingabout the place. If they could put a chef in charge who was really focused on the flavor quality of the food this place would bea true homerun. Food was absolutely delicious. Definitely make a reservation in advance! A few people walked in but was only offered the bar if... any seating was even available. The calamari was so salty omg. I had to eat the cold bread they sliced and gave us with oliveoil and chug water to get the saltiness out of my mouth. So be aware ! The pasta do not come with chicken or protein reallyhowever you can order a side of chicken or so. I had the prosciutto and asparagus pasta and it was extraordinary. It was sogood. The passion fruit mocktail mule was ok. A bit watered down seltzer taste if you ask me. The watermelon margarita also wasvery bland. Tasted like watermelon flavored water with salt on the rim. My new favorite Italian restaurant in Newport! Everything was so great about this place! I loved the decor and aesthetic. The... hostess was super friendly and welcoming, and he immediately found a table for us although we didn’t have reservations. Moretimes than not when we dine at nicer restaurants with our kids we are met with an attitude. But not here!! The hostess took timeto greet and also welcome our kids into the establishment! Our waitress was super nice and her service was great. And the foodwas even better. I’m not sure what they put in the bread but it is heavenly. I also asked our waitress if there was anywaythat I could order just pasta with pesto, and she said absolutely. Safe to say this was the freshest pesto and most deliciouspasta I’ve ever had. We are already planning our return visit, and can’t recommend this place more!!! Read more
