Great location in Newport Harbor. Only had breakfasts here, but they were fresh and satisfying.
Slow. Slow. Slow. There is a reason that this place is a quiet restaurant in the middle of the busiest tourist part of... Newport. The food isn't good. Small menu that is expensive even for the tourist area. Salad with chicken was $15. Small portionwith few of the strawberries and other goodies that were supposed to be in it. Hamburgers are $18. Soup was good at $9. Oh andthey charged me $2 for the bread I requested. Seating is on the water and pretty. Not sure why the service was so slow. They hadlots of waiters and not that many customers. Their staff and hospitality was an A+. We ate their breakfast buffet twice and had dinner twice here at Saltwater. Their clam... chowder has to be the best I've ever had. It wasn't too thick or too thin - loaded with fresh clams and potato's. I loved it. Their fish and chips were hot and delightful. Their chicken breast was chunky and cooked to perfection with some fun herbs. What i took notice of was the quality of their foods. The chef made an appearance or two to our table. He said their turkeyhad been cooking for 7 hours so I decided to dive into their turkey. I was super impressed - presentation, their standards andservice were highly proficient. Read more

My classic margarita was perfect. Lord knows I love Don Julio and my friend had the aquidneck slide which was a mudslide with... ice cream of course. We locals do enjoy a good mudslide and that one knocked it out of the park. My only gripe would be ourbartender was not very friendly and there was an obnoxious black lab in the outdoor seating area kept barking. I love dogs butseriously why must they be everywhere on this island? Read more
Had a couple of drinks at the bar. Very attentive bartenders and staff. Went for some takeout breakfast it was very good.
Amazing appetizers. The gluten free lava cake was awesome. The signature drinks were really good. The addition of live music was... an added bonus to create a great atmosphere on the water. A+ great all around. Read more
