Casual and friendly pub. We almost took our group elsewhere when we arrived about 5pm the TV volume was way too loud to speak... to each other. We tried the outside patio, but no better. Thank goodness a live Irish music session started and made the visitdelightful. Read more
Came by for a late drink on a Tuesday night (around 10pm). They had a live DJ and lively crowd ready to dance. Great time... meeting locals and visitors. Read more

The Curry fries are so good. I had a honey mustard wrap that was large and flavorful. I took half home and it tasted great the... next day. Did I mention that the Curry fries were amazing...some heat but savory! Read more
Stopped in for breakfast and returned for some great music that evening. Best atmosphere in Newport. Large seating area in the... bar, and an even larger outside seating area. I recommend stopping by for food and Irish drinks. Read more
Lively watering hole in the summer. This is an old New England joint so don?t expect anything fancy, from the food to the... service. The owners and servers are friendly though usually hard to flag down. Great beer battered onion rings. Unsure if thereis actual table or drink service outside in back as I?ve been told to go back there a number of times and never once saw anyonebut locals playing games and smoking cigarettes. Cozy in winter. A place to get drunk, and not too cheaply. Irish bangers andmash were ok, but the mashed potatoes were of questionable origin/ preparation. Irish music on Sundays with a large band. There are darts and pool tables available. At the patio there is a ping pong table.
