After exploring the mansions, we came down to have a nice dinner with the family. It was about 24 of us and the waitress did an... excellent job! You can also sit outside if you want a beautiful view of the water and the sunset. The restaurant and bathroomwere clean. We witness a person being escorted out of the restaurant because he seem like he was drunk and making a scene, whichmade us feel safe that they have that under control. Amazing waterfront dining and super family friendly. We had a party of 4 adults and 4 kids - 3 of whom were 3 or under. This... place was so accommodating to whatever we threw their way: spilled lemonade, messes of food, putting a birthday cake in thefridge. I saw a few other families with their phones on the table to keep the little ones occupied with coco melon. Staff was sokind and went out of their way to deliver top notch service. Read more
Excellent!!! We did one of those boat tours and this restaurant was highly recommended. Not being a seafood eater I had the... burger and my friend got the lobster roll. The potato salad was to die for. That view !!! You couldn’t have asked for abetter view. Our waitress Haylie was super friendly as well. I ordered the Atlantic Cod and wasn't disappointed. They offer tables over looking the water and the service was quick and... friendly. However I'm still confused over the fact that I couldn't get a warm lobster roll because I really was in the mood forone. The chilled only lobster roll will unfortunately keep me from going back. In my opinion, disposable cups should reflect onthe prices as well. Read more

The Lobster Bar is a fabulous seafood restaurant in Newport, Rhode Island that offers guests first class quality seafood dishes... and great views of the Newport Harbor. In September of 2018, I brought and treated myself and my wife for dinner at the LobsterBar restaurant during our honeymoon in Newport, RI. We were kindly greeted by the restaurant’s staff and given great seatingnear the Newport Harbor. Both my wife and I highly enjoyed our meals and found it to be well cooked, well seasoned, andthoroughly delicious!!! When visiting Newport Rhode Island and once the restaurant opens and resumes it operations, both mywife and I highly recommend that you visit and dine at the Lobster Bar restaurant!!! Read more
Stopped for lunch, got a Lobster Roll and Clam Chowder- very common foods for the area, but the Lobster was SUPER FRESH and not... covered in mayo or other taste muting condiments. The chowder was perfect with what seemed to be a bit of dill in it, which wasvery good!
