Went there while staying at a lake house nearby. I grew up on the coast and I had a friend whose family owned a pizzeria. This... was 40 years ago and I?ve been in search of a pizza place with similar style and flavor. Everyone is different when it comes topizza. We walked in and ordered. As soon as we saw the dough being prepared, I knew I was on to something. Sure enough out ofall the pizza places I?ve been to, including overseas, this was the closest to my friends business and even exceeded myexpectations. Our family has been on the hunt for a good local pizza joint and we finally found it! Every week or so we treat ourselves to a... large pepperoni and the quality is wonderful and consistent. Bubbly, chewy crust and flavorful toppings. The owner is almostalways working hard by himself and I can tell he's overworked and understaffed. I asked him how he gets his crust to be perfectand he just lit up. He was tossing dough in the air while talking about his process and it just made me so happy. The two XL pizzas tasted terrible and definitely wasn't worth the money we thru them out they were so bad. My stomach has been... turning off just eating one slice. One of the pizzas was was undercooked. Didn't get what we ordered as well which we got apersonal reason and some money back.
