Can we talk about a morning brunch with the girls on a Monday morning... after a long weekend? A thousand times yes! This place... deserves the full FIVE STARS, however, the service was terrible. I love Malibu Farm. My perception has been tainted because ofthe service. Our servers name was Luis and was so dry, extremely rude and looked like he didn't want to be there. He had thebiggest frown on his face every time he'd come to our table. It was so hard to ask him for anything because he lacked emotionand didn't know how to treat my friends and I. It was truly the worst service I have ever encountered. He didn't get our ordersright, our Surfer's Rancheros were both missing potatoes and when we asked him, he made us feel so stupid telling us they werethere - when in reality they weren't. The view is always incredible, you can't ever beat the weather and the food is always agood time. I can't stress enough on how amazing the Surfer's Rancheros are. They did miss the potatoes this time around but ourserver was able to give us potatoes on the side, in addition with another side of his frown. A great place with good healthy & tasty food. The view from the marina is nice & staff is friendly. Visited thrice in our 20 day... visit to USA. This was a great place to eat nice & healthy salads like burrata salad. They feature great vegetarian optionslike the beyond meat burger/impossible burger. The even have a drink [Sky Blue] that supports Ukraine through charity drive (&tastes great too). They have a good Gelato collection too which my kids really enjoyed. They have good coffee too which Irecommend & is far superior to Starbucks [disclaimer there is a nearby coffee roaster that has better but if you're feeling lazyMalibu is top notch]. Thoroughly enjoyed this place! It was a 20 min wait for our party of 10 which we spent walking around and checking out the shops... nearby. Great service, great food. The burrata salad ($21 + additional $4 for avocado) hit the spot! Read more
I can’t wait to return to this place! So many vegan and vegetarian options. Right on the marina with lovely views even at... night time. They offer heat lamps and blankets to keep you warm! The chai tea latte and decaf almond milk latte were deliciousdrinks to keep us warm while we waited for dinner. Enjoyed the coconut curry and my friend had the salmon. We went to Malibu Farms for lunch, it was our first time going there. Finding a parking spot in the vicinity is challenging so... we went to the parking structure and were told it was full! There was one valet spot near there and we took it. Malibu Farmsvalidates parking for 2 hours but not valet! When we got to the restaurant we were told there was a 40min wait for a table -they take reservations for dinner but not for lunchtime. We grabbed a seat and de used to get started with some drinks whilewaiting for our table. The drink menu is extensive and excellent, we decided to get the immunity flight (three shots one eachfor energy, rejuvenation and detox) and it was great. Our table was ready shortest thereafter. At the table we ordered moredrinks and our lunch. Service was excellent and very efficient. The food came out quickly and we really enjoyed our meal ofsalad, sandwiches and nachos! Dessert was a S’mores ice cream that came in a coconut shell and was fantastic. Overall, we hada great time and enjoyed the meal. I would highly recommend a visit. Read more
Came here with the cousins group. Our monthly get together that sometimes happens, sometimes gets postponed. We’ve been... wanting to try Malibu Farms and we finally made it happen. We planned on meeting at 12:30. Parking was difficult but we managedto get spots in the parking structure. They validate for 2 hours and there is currently a 2 hour limit on tables. They told usit would be a 20 minute wait for a table outside. Perfect amount of time for a cocktail! And let’s just say the choices areamazing. I started with a blueberry drink with vodka. It was delicious and refreshing. We had a choice of breakfast items orlunch items and it was a 50/50 split. We had French toast with berries & whipped cream with a side of bacon & potatoes. Theyserved the potatoes with an amazing chipotle ketchup. We also ordered a breakfast burrito that came with avocado crema. wow! It was fabulous but they really need to have Tabasco! 2 of us ordered lunch items. A vegan chopped salad and an addition ofshrimp! And the shrimp were gigantic! The burrata salad was calling my name. It was light and the perfect amount offood. They brought the dessert menu but we were all good and didn’t save room. But the ice cream choices soundedamazing! Great restaurant! They recommend reserving a table before coming in. We unfortunately did not and were quoted a 25min wait. We... were sat within 15min which was nice considering how busy it was. We ordered the apricot and watermelon cocktails - bothamazing! For food, we ordered the chicken ricotta burger and the breaded chicken sandwich. Highly recommend this restaurant ifyou’re in the area!
