The restaurant seems like a high end, high quality restaurant from the outside, and gave a good old steakhouse vive but the food... was not as great as what they seemed to be from outside. First of all the staff are all so kind, attentive, friendly, andaccommodating which I appreciated. The food however was not as good as I hoped, more mediocre than great. The lobster bisquewas tasty, but it had a little too much cream which made it heavy. The Caesar salad was missing the distinctive umami flavorone would get from having anchovies in the dressing and it was a little under seasoned. I assumed they were known for theirsteak, but now I think about it may they are known for their seafood? Anyways, we had steaks and it was not great. Our steakcuts were not high end as expected. One of the waygu steak came over cooked and it looked like a left over piece. My rib-eyewas similar. Their creamed corn again was heavy on cream, their brussel sprouts were not very well seasoned. The drinks wereokay. We had creme brulee for dessert and that was tasty, but it was room temperature and made the custard a little loose whichtook away from the experience. I may want to try the restaurant again and try their seafood instead. Their master outdoorpatio is very nice and I would recommend sitting outside for a quiet night and to watch a nice sunset if you decide to go. Do you like caviar, we do, so ready to Shrek out three hundred and fifty bucks, but hey you are at the "club" looking out at the... Pacific ocean, feeling the breeze and the warm California sun, if you sit at the patio like we did, with some good friends orfamily. It's worth it! And the servers they are pros, our waitress was there for five years, five, so she's such a wonderfulcomplement to the whole ambient. The caviar it's a hybrid, no ideas what this means, but they are not salty and have a nicenutty taste, we ate them with toast, not Bellini, both were provided and for that moment, we are in heaven. My first time in such an expensive fancy restaurant as an anniversary celebration. Ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, Bone in Ribeye... 22oz, Lobster bisque, house salad, mash potatoes, brussel sprouts and the warm butter cake for dessert. Massive food for 2people but everything is delicious. The sea bass is so fresh that just even only seared with sea salt and pepper, you can tastethe freshness of the fish The ribeye is so tender and juicy that even we took the leftovers home, it's tasted still good thenext day after heating up. Lobster bisque is so creamy with chunks of lobster. Definitely a popular dish The house salad is amust try if you like blue cheese and Cobb salad. The dressing and all the toppings matched perfectly Side dishes are bigportion and mash potatoes and brussel sprouts are delicious Finally the warm butter cake completed the night What an excellentand unforgettable dinner and experience. Place was the best!!! Great service and awesome food. Fine dining while watching the sunset go down. 2nd to none.
Despite arriving with a reservation, we had to wait for 5 to 10 minutes before we were seated. Normally, it would be... acceptable. But seeing how others who walked in after is to get seated sooner is a bit disturbing. The services are great! Ilike it that the server actually serve the side items onto your plate before placing the side dish onto the table. The food isgreat! My Children took me to this restaurant for my 65th Birthday. Dinner, drinks & dessert was delicious, Filet Mignon, Blacken... Seabass, New York Steak, etc. Our waiter was amazing. Everything was just perfect ?? Read more
Super Impressed with the level of service and attentiveness that was provided. Kim was our server, and an older gentlemen who is... the manager checked on us constantly to make sure everything was perfect. The drinks were super yummy and the food was ok. Idon’t think the price justified the quality of food since prices r quite exorbitant but you pay for the service and theatmosphere. This is a restaurant with rolls of Rolls Royce parked outside so this might not be the place for you if you rthinking about price. All in all - I am very happy and will come back for special occasions for sure. I would recommend gettingthe courtyard seating as there is the live singer in front of you or outside. Always a good night out here, quality service above all. The sides are huge, definitely shareable. Butter cake, the bread... basket and the bone marrow > everything else! The steaks and fish are great but it’s the little things we enjoy most here.Mainly service and the martinis! Read more
