This was our second time dining at The Alley; the last time being several years ago. Both times were enjoyable as the... restaurant has a great vibe and the staff is friendly and professional. We came back for the food and we’re right in doingso. Clearly more of a locals place so us tourists were glad to “sneak” in. It is a bit noisy but that is part of the vibe. Lastly, I suggest reservations on Friday or Saturday. We only got a seat because another group of four were leaving a bar-sidetable. Read more
My Newport friends love this place and come here every week. So glad I finally got to check it out! Stanton is easily the best... bartender around. Smart, attentive, hard-working, personable… he remembered my name and had my strong drink ready for me on mysecond visit. Friendly and fast servers navigate the busy environment like pros. All the food is great… salmon, seared ahi,pub burgers, chicken picatta, birthday desserts, fries. Randy, the owner, is so funny and welcoming. Loud and campy with lowlight and new friends everywhere.
