Not even a 4 star until they serve a perfect cooked fish! Great views, outstanding service, but the food is not a five star.... House salad and heirloom salad was great, so was the pork belly appetizer and bread. We ordered special ribeye steak and threespecial Chilean sea bass dishes with potatoes and veggies (@$57 each). Steak was okay, but all 3 sea basses were dry… one wasvery dry and they offered a new one. After waiting for a new one, it was better, but not quite as it should have been. ????itwas very disappointing. ???? the chefs need to practice on how to cook fish, especially Chilean sea bass. I was on a business trip in this area of Orange County and had dinner with some colleagues last night. The place is a bit... outdated, but service was very good. The food portion was generous and the appetizers (pork belly lollipops and octopus) wetasty and well presented. However some of the steaks we ordered came a bit over cooked. In my case, I ordered the Bison steakspecial (depicted) and it was alright, nothing too spectacular. The risotto and bean beans that came with it were tastefulnonetheless. I liked it but might look for other options if I'm back. Read more

This place is so romantic! We were seated in a private patio area that overlooked the waterfront. The food was amazing and the... staff was so friendly. This visit was for a friend’s birthday party but I definitely want to come back and try the other menuitems! Read more

What a beautiful place to visit! Let's go start to finish... The parking lot... well... lack of parking lot... is a small area... to pull in for valet parking only. If you plan to self park you will need to look elsewhere. Valet was only $8 and they werevery quick with getting our car afterwards also. When you enter the building there is a huge wall of wine bottles that wouldmake for an amazing picture backdrop. The Maître D was extremely friendly and very quick to assist us. She even wished us ahappy anniversary based on the reservation notes. We opted to eat dinner at the bartop which featured a beautifully backlitshell countertop (see pictures). Our bartender, Jason, was top quality. He was able to tell us about all of the specials withouthesitation and offered his opinions and insight on the food and drinks which did not disappoint. He always had a full bar butwas still personable and attentive to everyone. We did have a few food items that are not pictured which include the YG'sAlsation "Pizza", Crispy Kurobuta Pork Belly Lollipops, and the Seasonal Local Heirloom Tomatoes (which was my favorite). Theywere all wonderful and I could have easily made a meal from just these. Based on Jason's suggestion we did get the Ribeye(pictured) on special as well as the Chili Lime Rubbed Mahi Mahi (pictured) and both were delicious. The final plate was theWarm Vanilla Beignets which was easily the BEST dessert I've had in my life. The beignets arrive warm with cold ice cream, vanilla creme, and a rich vanilla sauce with both chocolate and strawberry dipping sauces. I STRONGLY recommend you save roomfor dessert and treat yourself to this dish. Read more

Our server had a great personality but not attentive, my wife ordered a coffee but it came out cold, we ordered the YG pizza... (appetizer) and it also was cold though it tasted fantastic. My wife had the short ribs and it was absolutely fantastic, I hadthe 8oz fillet medium well and it was so so, seasoning was mediocre. Probably the worst part is it was our Anniversary and theyknew it was our Anniversary but there was no acknowledgment after we sat down or the rest of stay. $35 corkage fee, better toorder a bottle while your there. The ambiance was amazing for sure which is the best part. A few family members suggested we goto this place so I'm sure everyone's experience will be different but for my wife & I definitely a one time deal. Read more

I had such a spectacular dinner here. JC was super accommodating, friendly and made you feel very welcomed. We were sat with the... most beautiful view, the service was hands down top notch, food, where to even begin! We ordered the petite tower, Caesar saladwith EXTRA anchovies (and they did not disappoint with their servings), steak, king crab… and dare I say, truffle mashedpotatoes! My mouth is watering as I am doing this review which only goes to show, their food is amazing. I highly recommend! Iwas brought here to celebrate my birthday and I wouldn’t wish to have dined elsewhere. Thank you The Winery and staff for awonderful and memorable dining experience. ???????? Read more
