Love the food and drinks at Tommy Bahama. We came in just before happy hour (30 mins too early ..starts at 3pm), but sitting... outside at a table had the ambiance of being in Hawaii. The goat cheese flatbread was amazing, as were the chicken Tingaquesadillas. We wanted to order/eat more but we stopped by for only a quick bite. We'll be back! Read more

10/22/22 A wonderful evening at Tommy Bahama in Newport Beach. We had reservations and were seated at a nice table outside.... Carlos our server was terrific and very attentive. We had the coconut shrimp appetizer and drinks to start which were terrific.Carlos took our entree order and my wife had the Salmon entree and I ordered the filet mignon plate. Both were very good. Wefinished the evening with a shared slice of pumpkin cheesecake Ala mode which was out of this world. The coffee was excellent aswell. Great people, food and ambiance. Highly recommended. Previous visit We had dinner reservations this evening in theoutside patio at Tommy Bahamas and had a wonderful time. We were greeted by the hostess who seated us and she was very friendlyand so sweet. Melissa was our waitress and was nothing short of fantastic. We started with drinks and the coconut shrimp whichwas simply scrumptious. The drinks were solid as well and well made by the professional chemist behind the bar. We had theirbread which is heavenly as well. After a few drinks and some great conversation we ordered our entrees. My wife had the salmonentree which she loved and left nothing on the plate. My wife said it was perfectly cooked and seasoned and so tender. Speakingof tender I had the filet mignon medium rare cooked to perfection with cauliflower mashed potatoes and arugula. The steak wastender, tasty and just simply perfect. We chose not to have desert but finished with a lovely cup of expresso Java. Highlyrecommended and simply amazing! Read more

Went here after looking up a list of good restaurants in the Newport Beach area. This was one of the higher recommendations.... Turns out it is only 10 minutes from where I was staying so decided to give it a try. Great food and service! I would say it's alittle on the pricier side, but definitely worth it ???? Can't go wrong with Tommy Bahama. It's a classic restaurant with excellent food, ambiance, and service. Been here several times,... this last time was to celebrate a birthday and the hosts were gracious and very attentive. Their coconut shrimp, macadamia nutcrusted Mahi Mahi and tacos were excellent....but the key lime pie was the real winner (tangy, tart, with a perfect macadamianut crust)! Read more

It’ been a long time to have great food and drinks/cocktails together at the same place. Everything was great. Only... disappointment was the patio, expected to see colorful vivid backyard but of course it is not deal breaker. I will definitelycome back that place.
