We visited the Newport News location. Our server was Kam and we received exceptional service. Large portion sizes and tasty... food. I ordered the tortilla soup and garden salad. The soup was not like typical tortilla soups.... it was creamy, tasted ofred and green peppers. I loved the avocados and shredded cheese on top. The kids alfredo had a lot of sauce and was enough fortwo children. Crispy chicken was good and the fries were delish. The kids macaroni and cheese is the Kraft box kind. I really like this place. Great selection of food and beer. They have their own brand of beers and serve many wonderful local... craft beers. Today I had the prime rib special. SO much food. The peanut butter Pizookie was so awesome, I plan to go back justfor another one of those. The servers and managers have been friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. My new hangout. Read more

I've enjoyed BJ's at other locations & I was happy to have one in NN. My goto order is the Brisket Bacon Burger. Though, we also... had their pizza, ribs, and prime rib sandwiches. At this location, my burger has been very hit or miss. The first time it wasextremely overdone. I called management numerous times for a refund (via a gift certificate), they kept claiming to have acomputer malfunction, but here we are 8 months later, and....nothing! Since then, I don't order as frequently because I am bigon customer service and doing what "you say you'll do.". Last week, I decided to give them another try (photo) the burger lookedlike a "thing of beauty," but again it was overdone & the meat was tough. Like the precooked it part way and then finished itwhen folks actually order. The previous time that I order (5/25) our burgers were good, but they totally mixed up the toppingson the two burgers that we ordered. Yeah... I'll probably never eat here again. ???? all my food was cold and I had pork so that's definitely a hazard. It might be... time to close this location and utilize those workers at other locations to ensure details like this aren't missed. Definitelycould have been a health risk. AND the dip was not fresh. ??????? How do I know? They put a thermal bowl in the microwave andthe wax coating in it burned. Smh... I'd consider retraining your workers before they end up harming themselves or others. Thisis baaaad. Read more

The Avocado ???? egg rolls are everything and nothing short of amazing! ???? If you come here you must try them they are write... home delicious I promise. The New Orleans jambalaya wasn’t too spicy and hit the spot. The Mediterranean chicken tacos ????had so much flavor we would get both these dishes again when we come back. Came for Hubby’s Birthday dinner & had a great experience. Hubby had the Jambalaya and loved it! I had the Blackened Salmon &... it was delicious! Had delicious Avocado Egg Rolls & Chicken Potstickers. Also had a Coco Breeze Margarita which was awesome. Ihad the Honey Sriracha Brussel Sprouts and they were so yummy. Got a family-sized house salad that was inedible. The spring mix greens were wet and slimy and stuck to the spinach leaves. I... don’t know how old it was but I was trying to pick out the blackish slime but it was too much work. Also got the spaghetti andmeatballs and the meal was so extremely salty that I could only have a small portion before the saltiness just became too muchto enjoy the food. Good lunch...servers are all masked up which I appreciated in this wave of delta!! Appetizers were good - calamari, avocado eggs... rolls and guacamole could have used a dash of lime juice for some, but it was fresh! All our food came out correct, yay!!Although next visit, we will order our main course once we are almost finished with tiz-ers cause the food did come quickly????.
