The portions are off the chain; the atmosphere is laid back; and the food is delicious. Only one fault... the chairs are not... designed for comfort, so eat it quick and go out pack it up and take it with you. Read more

I wish that I'd thought to... take a picture before I demolished my catfish "samwich," but I honestly was too busy getting down with the get down! Ya'll mycatfish was yum-E; and boy was it packed! I had to eat a piece off the top just to get going. The fish was fresh and the meatwas tender and sweet. The batter was crispy but light with a lil spice....and let's not forget the tartar sauce. Their homemadesauce was surprisingly good. I loved the consistency and it complemented my sandwich nicely ????. The fried okra was crispy andtender, but the batter could've been seasoned better. My husband enjoyed his catfish-shrimp po boy with sweet potato fries andoffered no complaints. The dining room was clean and inviting and staff were a joy and served us with a smile ! Food was good, and there was a reasonable wait time, only issue I had was they forgot part of my order that day and I was home... before realizing it. I was able to call back and speak to a manager who assured me I could come back the next day and get themissing food. Nice to see places still give good customer service. Read more
I have heard so much about this place and I was not impressed. It wasn't bad food, but there is definitely better seafood within... a 3 mile radius. I got the catfish basket and my husband got the shrimp Po boy. They were okay but were closer to other seafoodplaces that we like more. Read more

I would like to start out by saying that I had high expectations for my food because everything I've previously purchased from... here has been good. This time I ordered blackened fish and shrimp tacos and was extremely disappointed. The tacos were justthrown together without any care at all. They didn't look appetizing and were made in a way that weren't edible. Skrimp Shack isgood at what they are good at, but should stay in their lane and not do tacos anymore. This location specifically is the only place I've seen serve the "knuckle bucket" special. They say it's 3/4 of a pound of fried... whiting nuggets, but I swear that box comes out heavier, and I am NOT complaining. Watch out for the little bones, they are softand you can eat them as long as you're careful. And if you're not a seafood person, just get the Nashville hot chicken sandwichand thank me later.
