Visited this place as a "Girl's Night". I loved the location. It's hidden in a quaint spot near the water. Customer service was... GREAT! It's very small and not s lot of parking. I understand why reservations are needed, but definitely worth it. The food isgood! My only complaint is the music is so loud, there is no conversation to be had unless you're yelling. Of course, that's whymost people go to listen to jazz versus talk. It's an older crowd type vibe so I'll be bringing my mom back. I'm sure she'lllove it. Read more

First off... they tell you ahead of time to expect slow service (due to both how busy they are and staffing). A pretty accurate... assessment. However, the chill vibes a great band make the wait enjoyable. So... kind of glad the service was slow. The food wasgreat. I have never been impressed with crabcakes... like... ever. I mean, never at all. Till I went to dinner at The TrainStation. Couple it with the garlic buttered mashed potatoes. Wife ordered the Prime Rib, which was seasoned perfectly. The bandwas phenomenal. While they were all great, the saxophone player and bassist were the stars. The patio is right on the waterfront, so add in a spectacular view (at sunset, no less) and it was a great evening. The sign saying they were taking temperatures was false. No one took our temperature and it was PACKED. There's very little... room in this restaurant. While at mid-capacity this might add to a homey and personal feel, on busy days it amounts to sittingback to back or knee to knee with a stranger. Although we arrived on time, my party's reservation had been given away. Luckily, the new seats they gave us were much better. I don't recommend the she-crab soup: it's far too sweet. The crab canapes arebuttery and crispy but with too much cheese, it overwhelms the crab imo. We waited 1.5 hrs for our entrees. I get it, it wasFriday, but just so you know what to expect. I should also mention that our waiter never brought or even offered water refills, which feels like an oversight. The scallops were out, so I got the blackened catfish, steamed broccoli, and mac and cheese. Ialso had the chance to sample the fried trout and collard greens. Everything except the mac and cheese was good enough to comeback for, hence the ??? instead of ?? review. The mac and cheese...it's definitely homemade, but there's not nearly enoughcheese in it, it's very bland. The live music was good, a young man called Talton Manning, but if you've got sensitive earslike mine you may want to bring some earbuds to the restaurant. Read more

Food and music were great. Food did take awhile to come to the table. However, the menu says enjoy the cornbread and music while... you wait. Lol..we did. I ordered a seafood combo with mac and cheese and garlic potatoes as sides. The trout..scallops..andshrimp were delicious. Everything was good. Its a quaint spot with a laid back vibe. I will be back. Also...our waitress hadsoooo much personality. We enjoyed her as well. Read more

Very nice staff! The food was great and the music was fantastic!!! It draws a more mature crowd but I enjoyed that. My only... critiques would be that mixed drinks are a tad weak and there aren't many allergy food-sensitive menu items - not even a plainbaked potato. However, I will definitely return for a Friday night. Read more
