Walked in and was immediately greeted and seated. Party of 1. Reviewed the menu and my breakfast choice was made. Still waiting... for the server to arrive. Happy vouple seated directly in front of me. Immediately has drink order taken. Server pauses to askfor my drink. Drinks are served to both tables, then server proceeds to take order for the guests who were seated b4 me. Thenwalks by not a word said nor order taken. This wouldn't be an issue except they have only 1 cook. Probably need to spend moremoney on cooks. Read more
I was informed that the cook was a little behind, so my meal would be about 10 minutes later. Not being in a hurry, that was... fine. My dinner was very good, and the service was very friendly and good. Read more
Lunch after church at Perkins in Newton today. Being labor day weekend we were expecting a long wait to be seated. Even though... they were very busy as expected we were pleasantly surprised to be seated within 10 minutes or less. Our meals were delivered tothe table a very short time after ordering, much faster than we expected. Pam ordered the shrimp dinner, I had the pork chops,both meals were well prepared and very tasty. I ask our waitress to please go across the room and create a diversion so no onewould see me liking the plate. Well staffed, excellent servers, over all a really good experience today. Sorry my pictures aren?t the best but I was starving.! Amazing food.! Service with a smile and so polite.! Thank you for that.!... Food was hot, fresh and cooked to perfection.! I love that there was Chicken sandwiches for breakfast and Turkey sausage aswell.! For 12.00 I got 2 eggs, hash browns, and 2 biscuit With chicken and an amazingly well seasoned gravy.! I had the best experience at the Newton Perkin's. Malichi was my waiter we was delightful and personable the whole time. I... ordered a bowl of soup and asked for extra crackers "as many as your manager will allow or like 6-8 packs" he brought out a boxa crackers and started dumping this is about half of them. Yummy breakfast for 3- $35. Stars were the pumpkin pancakes and the extra crispy hashbrowns. Masks required to enter, I saw... them turn some people away for not having masks. Service quick and pleasant. Read more
