[August 2013] I grew up on PR in my hometown. I have always loved the "Texas Taco", "Round Up" (supreme), cheese pizza and of... course their amazing chicken. We were so happy to have a PR here in Newton, our new home! The customer service was great, thefood was awesome and we picked up or had delivered WAY too often!! (5-stars at this point) [2015 or so] About 5-7 years agothey changed their crust. We were heartbroken! Additionally, we experienced a series of issues that deterred us from orderingtheir anymore. They seemed to have decreased their already very limited business hours (frustrating on weekends or after schoolevents), we had a series of issues attempting to call or place orders online (staffing related?)... so really we stopped tryingto use them. I drive past there to and from work and fully expected it to go out of business when the pandemic hit! (...chicken still rocked and the toppings were still wonderful... 3-stars) [2022] Newton PR still alive and kickin'! I wasreally craving my old favorite the Texas Taco... So I ordered a small one day when I was exhausted and hungry. The crust isstill different than I remember, but way better than the showstopper a few years ago...and everything else was still AWESOME! Its a buffet. Came in b4 5pm and the pizza was a bit old, that is to be expected though. The chicken was great and salad bar was... too. Really wish people would manage their kids better in these places. Your kid shouldn't be playing in the drink machine andcondiment areas. Some of us would like to have a clean as possible experience. Have been to this PR previously and enjoyed the good food and hospitality. It wasn't Michelin star quality but it was good... nonetheless. Was there just 2 days ago, 08/12/2022, got there about 10 minutes to 1pm. Pizza trays were nearly empty no morethan 10 slices of pizza in the serving area. Salad bar was abysmal ( reason I chose there, I was jonesing for a salad bar )toppings were slim, there were no protein options at all ( ham cubes or bacon bits ) picked up a dressing bottle and when I wasdone I had sticky hands ( ok that's some customer that's messy ... but ) I had cheese, eggs, green peppers and that's aboutall I could put on top of the salad. A saving grace was that the chicken was good. Had to wait for more to come out but it wasgood. Not heavy on breading decent on flavor and mostly plentiful. My final thoughts. The pizza was pretty standard, as buffets go. But the real unexpected bonus was the fried chicken and veggies section. The... chicken and mashed potatoes were really good. The absolute best thing, however, were the folks working there. Everyone was SOnice and very eager to make the customer happy. Read more
I like Pizza Ranch but this one was lacking in good pizza on the buffet line. Not enough different pizzas to chose from. The... chicken was super hot which was good. The poor girl at the checkout was cleaning tables too. Read more
Ok, taking into account it?s an all you can eat buffet, it?s amazing. We went when it was busy so all the food was fresh. We?ve... never been to a Pizza Ranch. We were shocked at the selection. I had a plate full of pizza then a whole plate of fries chicken.Way better than a normal fast food place. Friendly service and a Veteran?s discount. Drinks included. Read more
