In this place I didn?t see respect towards costumer. Ordered an ice cream cake. Waited for half an hour for them to write... something short on it. After waiting for 30 minutes I decided to give up and request a refund but they refused. Got home withthe cake only to find out that they wrote in white (the cake was white)?. Read more

One of the best ice cream shops I?ve been to. Their ice cream is incredibly rich and they have a ton of super offerings. It?s... also in a really nice part of Newton so you can get your ice cream and it outside on the green. Read more
JP Licks is normally a great icecream shop. I have been numerous times. I would suggest that if your in the mood for a late... night snack don't go to this location as even though the sign says they are open till midnight the employees clean up about 1hrearly so they should really put the close at 11pm. (Not a good look for JP Licks as a company). Unfortunately this locationaccording to the employee has a policy they cannot make frappes (milk shakes) after 10:55pm even though they close at midnight. So if you do go to a JP Licks which is a great ice cream shop don't go to this location as they might have policy on not beingable to serve you something. Read more
The ice cream is just so good! It tastes exactly like the flavor names; especially the blueberry pancake monthly flavor.
Can't beat the extensive hours, but the ice cream itself is decent for the premium they charge! We were pleasantly surprised... when we called on a Wednesday night asking how late they would be open, midnight during the summer! (After our dismay thatCabots Ice Cream was closed for vacation for the entire week...) They have some unique flavors and the typical toppings butnothing special that keeps me up all night salivating. The location in Newton Center is also very recognizable with their cowprint sign. When we have a hankering for something sweet and in the area we will stop by but otherwise there are plenty of otheroptions. Also this is more of a grab and go type place. There's only about 5 stool seating options available and the outdoorbench seating for warmer months. Sad that Sweet Tart FroYo place is now gone so this is basically the only option. I guess theyjust have a prime location right smack in the middle of Newton Centre. Read more
