Great food without exception. I have been going there for the past 10 years. My kids that complain about any food; cannot have... enough of Jake's rice, falafel, shahlik and chicken kabob... My wife LOVE the baba ghanosh and I go for tabouli (sp?) with everyorder. By the way, once you taste the falafel you will see what I mean... The best falafel I ever tasted. Read more
Yesterday was my first time there. I just bought a chicken kabob plate and never again I will be back. The food was cold, the... tomato rice tasted horrible and looks like soup. Very small pieces of chicken and they charged me more for something they saidit was included but it was not and I ending up paying more, I throw it out in the trash the food. Family-run business (and they're Kosher!) With an excellent variety of food and flavors. They have lots of imported "goodies"... from Israel (drinks, halva, etc) The establishment may seem small or underwhelming on the outside, but don't let the looks foolyou, this place is packed with flavor and deliciousness and I will be recommending them to everyone I know! The staff wearmasks even in a now "mask-recommended" time, and are incredibly accommodating - they moved tables together for us close to theair-conditioning during one of the hottest days of the summer (thus far..) The owners are incredibly welcoming, and the food is amazing. This is not your typical falafel restaurant. Although, yes, the... falafel is as good as they wrote on their site, but the rices and meat dishes are even better. My only regret is that I didn?tknow about this place for the last 10 years!
