the pad thai here was amazing. The noodles was perfectly chewy and the chicken and pork from both dishes were perfectly tender.... Would recommend and come back again just for the pad thai! Food came pretty fast too in around 5 minutes. Read more
Yes they make tasty dish only when they are not busy ????Today I ordered 1 of their noodle dishes, the dish looked and tasted... horrible like it was cooked with bad meat, first taste I gagged. I called the restaurant and asked if they had new chef. Thelady said nope, I explained that my dish taste like it was cooked with something that had gone bad. Lady tried to convince methat the reason it had that weird taste it?s because food was covered for too long in plastic bowl, stood there trying to defenda nasty dish. hopefully they won?t remake the dish and resale it to someone else. Cashier lied about my order being ready. I arrived and my food was ready but she said it wasn't. We waited for 30 min. then she... called my name and pointed to the bag on the front table (where the bag had been since we arrive and she claimed it wasn't readyyet) and said your food is ready now. I told her why did she lie, she said she had to make me wait until one other woman (whohad been standing there waiting) got her food first, even though mine was ready first. Other people walked in as well and shehanded them their food. I told her that what she did was rude and insensitive, she said that's the way it works for her. Bythe time we arrived home, the food was cold. I couldn't believe how unkind and rude she was, the gentleman working next to herlooked at me and apologized, but she didn't care. You'd think kindness and customer service were some key attributes peoplewould have in the service business. Additionally, they all had masks but didn't wear them, not even the cooks, they were allhanging from their ears, all of them pretending to wear them. I will never return there. This is not a time to play withpeoples emotions, we have a lot on our plates already. I don't mind helping our local businesses, but when they behave thisbadly, it really makes me sad. LeDu management you can say or provide any excuse you want to and try to make me sound like I'munreasonable. I offered to pay for the extra soup and offered several times. If you didn't want to do it, just say no. It hasnothing to do with my complaint. Also the reason why I requested it is because the last time I ordered the soup with noodles,it didn't have enough broth to cover the noodles which I explained to her so she understood. Super friendly staff and great food. The coconut chicken soup is out of the world (don?t count its calories though:-)). Also if... you are fine with spicy (I mean, VERY SPICY) dishes, try the jungle beef - you will not regret! Read more
Great thai food. The pumpkin curry and crispy pork pad thai were exceptional. Best Thai food I've had in a while. Also, had... the jalapeno wings which were good, nothing special, but very solid. Fast service. Great little place. Read more
We had dinner here as we happened to be in Newton and this place was well reviewed. There's not much sitting room, but we were... able to get a table for 3 of us. The food came out very fast despite the kitchen looking pretty busy with delivery/take outorders. The pad thai was good, but not amazing. My wife enjoyed the basil fried rice a lot more. The Thai iced tea felt lightand was very sweet. A decent experience but we are used to better options in Cambridge & Somerville. Read more
For now, it is 3 stars for me I just tried shrimp pad thai and fresh shrimp rolls. Both tasted so so. I will try other menu... like their "specials" pork belly. Read more
The drunken noodles are fantastic - great flavor. Pad thai is great too. The owner is very nice. Would recommend this to anyone.
