Rice valley is probably one of the finest Chinese food restaurants anywhere in NE. Growing up in Newton and still live here and... after south pacific and China sails closed l started going to Golden temple in Brookline until I walked into Rice valley. Although the food has a Chinese name, the taste has been "improved" for Americans. Lots of beans in Sichuan style chicken, LOL.
Was really expecting more since I had been a couple years ago and remembered it being amazing. Lo mein smelled funky and tasted... like nothing.
