I?m not quite sure why it?s called market but this place was very good! It has a nice seating area outside with umbrellas and... inside. They offer water for free. I got the fried chicken buttermilk sandwich and while it was a little too sweet it was stillsuper delicious. It took about 10 minutes for the sandwich to be made which is reasonable as well. Everything I've eaten at the dining car has been delicious and the service is wonderful! Love the Mediterranean salad, muffins... and coffee/iced tea. We've also had the pork sandwich and it's fantastic! Really nice neighborhood spot! Read more

I live too close to this place. Based on the 4 things we ordered today --- omg, better get moving on the treadmill. The... cauliflower is amazing. The veggie breakfast sandwich is a favorite!! I don't know how they do it. The lentil soup is acreamy version, very tasty (if you like lots of whole lentils, you probably won't like the texture - but I loved it). Friesare great. (i ordered fancy french, but got regular; which is fine. they are very good fries) Can't wait to go back and tryother things. They were very busy, so hopefully they won't get overwhelmed by too early success. Read more

The Dining Car has a simple menu but with elevated ingredients. For example, the greens in our salads were sparkling fresh; the... hummus on my Mediterranean salad was creamy and flavored with such pleasant herbs. The grilled chicken was delicious, too. Inoticed that diners at other tables were very happy with their sandwiches, and the french fries and the fried cauliflower lookedyummy. Portions were generous and prices are moderate. We ate on the patio but the dining room inside is appealing; the wallsare lined with shelves filled with...cookbooks! Makes sense as there's a cook in this kitchen that knows good food. There'schoices for vegans and gluten free diners, and children would be happy here, too. Handicapped diners would need to be careful onthe paving stones on the patio.
