Been there many times. Newton Center, lots of parking around. Service today was great. Wish I could remember her name (starts... with a K). She deserves a lot of credit for making our night memorable. Food is ok. Space is large. Lots of TVs, game on. Fun. Read more

Hadn't been to Union Street in 14 years, and it's really gone downhill since then. Sincerely don't believe I've ever had such... genuinely bad food. I'm genuinely disappointed in the head chef or whoever is responsible for the menu. The "Gouda sticks"(ostensibly meant to be mozzarella sticks with Gouda, and a lovely idea on paper) were the most flavorless, disappointing, anddepressing thing I may have ever put inside my body. No hyperbole intended. They simply lacked any good flavor. I'm astoundedthat someone can put that on a plate and serve it to other humans. The entire menu felt uninspired and like a hodgepodge ofnon-interconnected ideas thrown at a wall. Just because you can put something on the menu doesn't mean you should. That said, everything on the menu apart from 1 or 2 items was $15+, and apart from the entrees nothing really deserved to be. Everything isabout 2x the price at 1/4 the quality. It left a bad taste in my mouth both metaphorically and literally. Read more

Good food and beer selection with outdoor seating in good weather. Food is typical bar type food with a few twists. We went on a... quiet night but there is lots of space so it can accommodate large groups too. Read more

The waitstaff seemed really nice and the drinks were delicious. Some reviews mentioned not liking the nuggets, but we thought... they were the best part of our meal. Personally, I felt my salmon was over cooked (and that overall our main courses could bebetter). I was hoping the outdoor dining would be a good option with COVID, but the tables were really close to each other. Read more

I use to come here frequently before I had kids. It's always been fun. But alas, we all grow old. I Brought my son here for... brunch. I have to say...the service was phenomenal. Pierro was absolutely fantastic with my son. He was attentive to my 6 yearold, heavily engaged. My son couldn't stop talking about the 'Pierro Special' (Pink Lemonade /Ginger ale /Water) and my sonloved it. Honestly, I can't tell if Pierro made it up, but it was a hit. When it came time to pay, our bill had a picture of aspider, drawn by Pierro, that my son noticed due to their earlier conversation about Spider-Man. It just takes little detailslike that to turn experience from good to memorable. At the end of all of it my son told me that it was the best experienceeating out he's ever had (and I'm thinking in my head it's just Union bar but whatever). I highly recommend going to Union forthe food and the impeccable service. Edit 7/24: The Pierro special is definitely a thing. Also, I visited today and Katiey isalso an amazing server. It's obvious Union hires amazing staff! Read more

Oh my, I had the best salad at Union Street Restaurant. The salmon was juicy and seasoned perfectly. Had lunch on Sunday at... Union. Decided to stay inside because it was too hot on the patio. Diligent staff, very decent price for large portions, balanced drink, warm and comfortable ambiance. I will definitely come back. Read more

Great food and drinks! My friend and I had the veggie burger and fish & chips. We both thought everything was very fresh... tasting. Drinks were good and decently priced. Atmosphere is excellent and they have 3 floors of dining I believe. Read more
