I drive a truck for Lazyboy in Newton ,I usually go here for something hot to eat at the end of the week. The last 3 times I?ve... been here either the stalls have an inoperable speaker or no one will answer when you do find one that works. The last time Idid get to order it came out missing the fries , cold burger wrong drink and a 30 minute wait to boot.The truly sad part is allthe bad reviews and Sonic doesn?t seem to care. Oh well there are plenty other places to eat in Newton with much better serviceand food. Will not be back ever!!!! Read more

I was kinda disappointed w/this location. Couldn?t really hear the person talking on the speaker, rude unprofessional &... literally was out of nerds!! Me & girlfriend have been on the road & wanted the blue raspberry w/nerds slush but they were out &the person on the intercom was just rude saying loudly & rudely ?WE DON?T HAVE NERDS!! DO YOU NEED ANYTHING ELSE??!!? We reallywanted to cancel our whole order but we was so hungry from being on the road. Read more
Sonic has gone down the drain over the last few years. This morning I only had a simple question and have been calling for 20... minutes now (9a.m.) and still no answer. Last few times I've been there they took well over 30 minutes for our order to come outand that's after it took super long for them to take our order, my boyfriend had to step out the truck to go to the booth besideus and try and order since we thought it was another broken stall we were trying to order from. The kids (young adults) on theinside were chatting amongst one another and only 2 ppl were bringing out orders. It's been 10 years since I've worked at thisstore in Newton and I now travel 20 minutes to Forest just for better service and wait time. Do yourself a favor save your moneyand gas up because this one will make your blood boil just by the experience. The owner should knock it down and the city ofNewton should find better use of this space. Read more
We sat outside for 21 minutes, just for our order to come out wrong, we added another three minutes on top of that for them to... bring back out a watered down, Coke Zero. Service was terrible. The employees sat inside talking amongst each other; we saw 5total, 2 were working and it was mainly one girl running orders when they did do something. Tots came in our order instead offries 0/10 worst experience at this sonic ever. Definitely go to forest if you?re trying to have sonic!!! My order was correct, the food was hot and didn't wait long to receive it and the carhop lady was very nice
Found a bread tie in my sandwich! I still smashd n the food tasted great though. Had to wait about 20mins but they were busy.... Was cheaper to eat there than several othr places n the area. Read more
