Friday night today, 10/21/22 at 7 pm. 4 ppl table ready and yes busy. Service is poor EVERY TIME Food is good but my 2 dozen... steamed clams had sand in them. They don't use real butter. More like olio or crisco. My osso buco at $29 came out Luke warm. No drink refills. Had to ask for bread and water. We left 18% tip but Should have taken back a $5. I had to get up and askfor napkins AND salt and pepper. Very disappointed. If you want to spend 2-3 hours waiting for food or drinks, go there andchat. They make a good pizza, but I?m not even here to talk about that. Have you tried the Italian cheesecake? It?s freakin... fantastic! Some Italian cheesecakes are overloaded with orange and citrus flavors, but not this one. It?s done just right withan excellent texture. Read more
We were staying at the Econo Lodge next door and wanted something convenient. I am so glad this place was convenient because the... food was excellent. Hot, fresh, authentic Italian - and the portions are HUGE. The staff was extremely friendly, and sent platesand silverware back with us to the hotel. The owner even packed it up in a big box so that it was easier to carry. If I am everback here, I will for sure stop again. My whole family enjoyed the food. Read more
This place was great. Has the old diner confused restaurant/bar/pizza place feel like my grandmother decorated when it opened... and no one has questioned it since but once you get the food it suits it well the food really brought me back to sitting atgrandma's with family and a bottle of wine. Even has the fish tank with goldfish well beyond their years that won't even flushdown the toilet anymore should they pass. Staff was super nice, everyone pitched in and food came reasonably fast. I had thevenison stew which reminded me of a chicken pot pie. No shortage of meat which was super tender and cooked perfectly. My wifehad a seafood risotto which she said was excellent. We also had the grilled eggplant with roasted red peppers and mozzarellaappetizer which was good. Was this place a mind blowing flavor town? No, but if you want a hearty meal with a healthy portionand excellent staff this place is one to try I know I will absolutely be going back no question in my mind. Read more
Great Italian restaurant! Immediately upon walking in, I loved the vibe. They were playing classic Italian music and by the bar... area, they had a tv on the cooking channel. I sat by the bar area, since I was only going to have a drink and some apps. Thebread they bring out is so yummy! I had a tequila sunrise and it was perfectly made! For apps, I had the clams oreganata andbroccoli rabe with sausage. Both were so good! It?s a little far from me, but I would definitely come back here for a fulldinner.
