This is a great place to hang out with family. We sampled 8 varieties of beer and also had pizza and pretzels that were also... really good. The ambience is awesome as well. Read more

Cool historic building, solid beers, and delicious pizza & pretzels. Indoor beer hall is trendy and air conditioned. Outside has... a ton of covered seating with table service, plus lawn chairs and corn hole. Read more

Newtown CT. Lots of choices in craft beer brewed onsite. Adequate menu of pizza and pretzels. Set in an historic building,... repurposed to house brewing equipment, a kitchen, small bar and a floor full of tables and benches. Not rushed. Quite busy, yetservice with a smile and very little wait time. A good place for gathering with families, friends, conversations and a goodbeer. Read more

First let me start off by saying that I love the potential this brewery has. Planting a brewery in a decommissioned asylum is an... amazing idea! My order: -Dark Helmut (a very good darker beer) -Tunnel Time (altbier, now this one is a winner!) Probably thebest altbier I?ve ever had. Do yourself a favor and order a glass of this one. -Giant pretzel -Long Island hotdog (not reallyall that great) I would like to suggest some improvements, if I?m not being too bold. It was very hard to figure out how to getinside the brewery. Are there any tours? And the staff didn?t seem all that interested in talking about the beer, but maybethat?s just me. All in all, I love the idea. And y?all are almost there. I can?t wait to see how this place evolves over theyears. Cheers! Read more

LOVE this brewery! Especially their pizzas that pair wonderfully with their beer! The Hot Oil pizza is divine, my go-to fave... each time there! The Bianca, which I had for the first time this weekend was delish (never had sesame seeds on a pizzabefore!), cannot wait to have it again! The Keating Farms Kolsch is terrific and the Dopplebock is just great... both went wellwith the variety of pizzas we ordered. The vibe inside is comfortable and welcoming and the Fairfield Hills' history & photos onthe brewery's pillars make for interesting conversation. With easy access to I-84 and Routes 25 & 34, this brewery should be oneveryone's must-visit list! Read more
