My family and I come to this pizza place every week! Lots of diet options are available such as gluten free dough, pizzas,... wraps, twists, and more! Great atmosphere with the best staff!! Always a pleasure seeing everyone here! They even made usfried pickles upon request and they were delicious!! Thank you for trying something new with us!! I don?t know why they have almost 5 stars? I?ve only tasted their pizza and it was horrible! If your pizza isn?t good, I can... imagine how the rest taste? It was chewy and not flavorful and the crust was like cardboard? Then on top of that, a staff memberin there swatting flies on the tables right in front of me while I am eating????? What a DISHONORABLE business establishment. I ordered a two-slice/soda special for $6.50. A woman behind the counter told me... the total would be $6.89 with tax...Fine. I hand her my credit card, and AFTER the charge transaction was completed, I see onthe receipt that an additional amount of 79 cents had been tacked on, wherein the total she had charged to my card was not the$6.89 amount she had told me, but rather $7.68. I asked the woman what the added 79 cents was for (as the receipt itself didnot exactly specify), and she replied the added amount was a fee for using a credit card. Kindly understand the following: 1)There was no signage WHATSOEVER in the restaurant that there would be an additional fee for using a credit card, let alone howmuch that fee would be (a flat amount? a percentage?); 2) NEVER did the woman ACTUALLY INFORM ME that there would be a 79-centadded fee for using a credit card PRIOR to charging my card, otherwise I would have used cash for the purchase (although I don'tknow whether they charge a "handling fee" for accepting cash and/or a "handing fee" for handing back whatever change a givencustomer is due, as there is no signage regarding those either); and, 3) The 79-cent fee represented an 11 PERCENT SURCHARGE(ouch) above the $6.89 food cost/tax amount, which I consider to be a VERY HIGH surcharge for using a credit card...is such evenlegal? Along with the hidden surcharge/fee, such makes me suspicious of whatever else this establishment might be hiding. Anyway, my immediate thought was "Well, there's a last time for everything", as in that will be the last time I will ever setfoot in the place, which is a shame because I've recently relocated about ten minutes away. Pizza is fine. Whats not fine is service charge to pay with a card. This information is listed nowhere on site. Sneaky and... underhanded. Who carries cash anymore? Not entirely suprised as this place is locate behind 2 gas stations that charge $1 moreper gallon the every station in the county. Gotta love Newtown Read more
First time ordering here for my wife's 6th grade class of 25 students. Needed the food by 10:45am (for reference, they open at... 10:30). We called the night before to ensure that would happen and spoke with the very nice owner. We had 9 pies on order, whenI walked in at 10:45, he was just pulling the last pie out of the oven. The pizzas were GREAT, the students enjoyed their pizzaparty. Will be coming here again in the future. Very nice owner and good pizza. Read more
I have been eating here for over 10 years. Food is great and the staff very friendly. The owner truly cares about his customers... and always goes the extra mile to greet you by name regardless of how busy it is. Delivery times are FAST and the drivers alwayspleasant. Never received a cold meal from this place. Always our go to after a long day's work when cooking just isn'thappening. Read more
Their Sicilian pizza is a below average at best. Barely any cheese, sauce or flavor. Won?t be ordering again.
