Do not host your private event there. They are completely disorganized, emails got bounced back, and told me one thing when I... booked my big event and when it came to the week of the party they told me a different story. They didn’t give me any sort ofcontract and everything is done via phone since their email doesn’t work, so no paper trail, which equals a lot of emptypromises. Luckily I was able to get my money back and book my event last minute elsewhere, but it was a HUGE headache. Read more

Ordered a Nachos Appetizer with cheese, salsa & jalapeños with sour cream. It came out on a round pizza type pan mounded like... a mountain. Enough for 6 people easy. The cheese & salsa & sour cream thrown on top- NONE underneath the top layer, sobasically all the other chips were dry & plain. The chips were greasy & the whole thing totally unappetizing. I love theambiance of the place. It was my first visit. I will try it for dinner & see if it's any better. PS- if this is listed as anappetizer, consider making it sized like an appetizer, not a full blown meal for 4-6 people. Read more

Food wasn't very good. Drinks weren't either. Same goes for the service. The wings would have been good if they put more than a... drop off sauce on them. Read more

The food was very good, but experience was ruined by TONS of flies around the bar crawling all over our food.

We went to the Green Parrot tonight for dinner. We had Cesar salads for an appetizer in addition to a large Bavarian pretzel... with mustard and cheese. Sorry that didn’t last long enough for the picture. I had the French Dip which is called the ParrotPrime Dip. It had beef, Swiss cheese, sautéed onions, mushrooms and a side of au jus and kettle chips. My wife had the chickenfingers with fries. Overall the food was really delicious. Cesar salad was good. Croutons had a great taste and Cesar dressingwas one of the better dressings I’ve had. The Parrot Prime Dip had a great taste, it was a good portion and nice presentation.Onions were sautéed well and au jus had perfect amount of salt. My wife thought the chicken fingers were also really good. Theservice was excellent and not too busy for a Thursday evening. We both really like this restaurant and we will absolutely beback. Was checking out the town a little and came across the Greet Parrot. It has a nice open feeling to the place, with a bunch of... places to choose and sit. I came in late afternoon, and was able to catch the lunch special still. I sat at the bar, orderedthe half rueben and a salad. For $10 it wasn't bad at all. Service was quick and friendly, food was tasty, and the drink menulooked pretty good, wine menu was extensive! For the beer drinkers there were 21 taps and they offer growlers as well. Lots ofTVs in the bar area, everything was a different game. I bet the main entrees are tasty, seems like a real local favorite. I'dcome and eat here again. Read more

Post Covid-19 update, were surprised by sidewalk seating, but chose to sit inside. Menu was limited which was not a surprise,... seen at other venues. We chose the Roast Beef on a roll, with dipping juice & horse radish it was a delicious choice. Staffwas friendly, helpful and quick, most were wearing a cool looking black 'T' shirts with a type of an American flag with the RedWhite & Blue Parrot in the center on the back side. We have been coming here for several years now and have enjoyed the food, bar and service. Weather permiting we like sitting outside, the winter we enjoy the ambiance of the fire place inside. Onoccasion it can get loud in the bar and outside seating area, but that is expected. Staff is friendly, helpful and food isserved hot, can't ask for more. Don't know when they changed the menu, but it is much better the dishes we had were great. Wewill continue to come here to relax, dine and partake in a beverage or two. On our last visit we enjoyed the Twin Parrot 2delicious crab cakes on a bed of rice, sweet corn, greens a plum tomatoes and while it looked like a pizza it was called aSonoma Salad which was equally delicious, then topped it off with a Chocolate Moose. Enjoy. Read more
