Good brunch/lunch location in a strip mall. It tends to get really busy with a wait list, but a short wait. Food was good but... not exceptional. I would not recommend the shrimp and grits, however the tomato bisque was really good! My son had the chickenpesto sandwich and was content with his choice. He is a foodie like me, so both jim and I agreed that if we go back we would trysomething else as our picks were not the best. The shrimp and grits was on the seasonal menu anyway. Their fresh juices werereally good. I had the Beet me- with beets, turmeric etc - very refreshing. Price tag was at $6.50 but was worth it! Wouldrecommend. Read more
I had the absolute best experience at The Turning Point. So many of my friends had gone and I heard great things. I decided to... go with a group of friends. Yes - this isn?t your typical dinner but for someone with food allergies, it was absolutely amazing!I?ve always only been able to have oatmeal but the menu here was such variety that I had vegan pancakes AND vegan eggs. This wasthe first time I was able to eat like this going out for breakfast. Our server Ivy truly added to the experience.Coincidentally her children have food allergies so she knew exactly what I could and couldn?t have. I decided to do a bridesmaid proposal at this location. Needless to say the staff was so kind, welcoming, and constantly checked... in to see if we wanted to order anything, or if we simply wanted more water, juice?etc. Our main server was Karen, and she waswonderful! They have a private room which we utilized, it?s a great space for a bridal shower, or any small friends/familygathering. The food was delicious, and they have tons of options on their menu!!!
