Good brunch/lunch location in a strip mall. It tends to get really busy with a wait list, but a short wait. Food was good but... not exceptional. I would not recommend the shrimp and grits, however the tomato bisque was really good! My son had the chickenpesto sandwich and was content with his choice. He is a foodie like me, so both jim and I agreed that if we go back we would trysomething else as our picks were not the best. The shrimp and grits was on the seasonal menu anyway. I had the absolute best experience at The Turning Point. So many of my friends had gone and I heard great things. I decided to... go with a group of friends. Yes - this isn?t your typical dinner but for someone with food allergies, it was absolutely amazing!I?ve always only been able to have oatmeal but the menu here was such variety that I had vegan pancakes AND vegan eggs. This wasthe first time I was able to eat like this going out for breakfast. Our server Ivy truly added to the experience.Coincidentally her children have food allergies so she knew exactly what I could and couldn?t have. I decided to do a bridesmaid proposal at this location. Needless to say the staff was so kind, welcoming, and constantly checked... in to see if we wanted to order anything, or if we simply wanted more water, juice?etc. Our main server was Karen, and she waswonderful! They have a private room which we utilized, it?s a great space for a bridal shower, or any small friends/familygathering. The food was delicious, and they have tons of options on their menu!!! Lovely atmosphere and great service! The staff was very friendly and easy going! It was a very nice place for brunch! The food... was delicious, and there was a lot of it! We ordered the cold brew and it was really good! You got the syrup in a separatecontainer along with a glass and coffee ice cube! I recommend this place for breakfast/brunch vibes! Decent place. Very nice inside. Water glasses were dirty but replaced quickly when asked. The Avocado Smash Benny was decent,... there is a lot of avocado though so be prepared. I got the Classic Pork Roll Sammy, asked for eggs medium not hard, they camehard anyway. The potatoes were not fully cooked, mediocre to be honest. My daughter said the iced lattee was fantastic. Theyoffer lots of coffee options so definitely a good spot if you just want some coffee. Overall, the breakfast was okay. Nothingcrazy to brag about, but wasn't horrible. Read more
We went for breakfast and the selection was great. I had the cinnamon roll pancakes which were awesome. Not too sweet either,... just right. My wife had the Berry chocolatey pancakes which she said we very good as well. I tasted the strawberry reductionsauce which was great. My kids tried the S'mores waffles and the volcano french toast which they all enjoyed. My youngest saidhe would be happy to come back every day for breakfast, which is saying something as they are very picky about everything. Thegood was served quick even though it was fairly crowded. Waitress was prompt to acknowledge is and take out order, checking backa few times as well. I'm looking forward to trying their other items next time we go. Food is amazing! Staff is great! Food took a while to get but was worth it in the end. The pancakes are very filling!
