Terrible service, and I ordered shrimp lo mien from here with only 4 small tiny pieces of shrimp! Never ordering here again.

We lived in Newtown Square for a long time . China Wok was the best Chinese food around. The owners are very friendly as well.... We moved to Valley Forge over 4 years ago and still drive to Newtown Square to go to China Wok for food. If you are sick with aflu, respiratory infection , sinus infection, fever, or even covid the best you can do to feel better is get their hot and soursoup extra hot ( spicy). My family swears by it!!! I ordered my food and waited while it was made. The entire time that I was there, the middle aged man was SCREAMING at a woman... while they cooked. I don't speak their language, but he was clearly extremely angry, and the woman looked very scared of himand was being quiet with head bowed down. Girl, whatever he was angry about, you DO NOT DESERVE TO BE TREATED LIKE THAT! Itdoesn't matter if you are an employee or his wife, even if you actually did something wrong, you deserve to be treatedrespectfully!! Please, get some help. That is abuse. Disappointed in my last order. Recipe for sweet and sour shrimp must have changed. Used to be thin outer coating on large... shrimp. Deep fried. Very very good. . Now they were small shrimp with thick breading coating. To much filler. Bring backthe old recipe. Read more
My husband and I are both vegetarian and love the vegetable delight meal and general tso tofu, both come with sides of rice.... Definitely our go-to when we?re short on time and want to grab something quick. Have tried other takeout Chinese places but justnot as good. Staff is always friendly and polite. Read more
Great prices, fast service and good food! For those posting observations about the screaming/yelling/angry comments, I know what... you mean. However, having grown up as first generation in an Asian home, this is totally normal and can sometimes be a sign ofgood vibes! Communication and marital relationships look VERY different for couples from other cultures, especially Asiancultures. I hope this comment provides some insight. Thanks for reading!
