Why are their Bagels soo good with great customer service. However they really don't pick up the phones. But I still love them
I've tried calling several times over the past few days and let it ring because I thought maybe staff were with other customers.... Then I tried calling at times I thought business might be a bit slower. There are other reviewers who also mentioned having thisproblem so it appears they just don't answer the phone, ever. I love the California bagels and want to order them by the dozenso I can freeze them. But it's too frustrating to drive several miles HOPING they have some available. So I'll settle for othertypes of bagels I can get in shops closer to home. Read more
Place is a joke. Stay away and it?s literally because of the owner. Multiple reviews say the same thing too. Very rude. Won?t... let his paying customers use their bathroom because others ?ruined it for me?. Would never come back to this location. Read more
Been trying to call to place an order for pick up to reduce wait time but noone has ever answered in the last 3 years atleast.... Maked me never go there anymore. Original Bagel is well worth the extra couple minute drive out of the way. Read more
The owner of this Manhattan Bagel is just plain nasty and rude. I have been going here for a while and always felt the customer... service was lacking and cold, but dealt with it. After todays experience I will never return. I arrived at 6:55 am and waitedin my car until 7:00am for them to open. At 7am myself and another women exited our cars. I opened the door for us and as soonas I did so the gentleman owner yelled at me that they are not open and I need to read the sign outside. I closed the door andread the sign again which said 7 AM on Sundays. Bear in mind it was 9 degrees at this time. I reopened the door and said tothe owner that the sign says 7 am. He screamed at me that he did not care what the sign says and that they will open when hewants to open as it is his store. I was so taken back and so was the other women. I have never been yelled at like that my anyrestaurant employee. As he continued to yell I told him if that is his attitude about his store then I will choose to get mybagel elsewhere. I returned to my car and as soon as I closed my door the owner turned the open sign on. I was going to justleave, but my 11 year old daughter begged to go in herself as she really wanted a bagel. I let her go in and when she came backshe said the owner was talking bad about me to the other people in the store. He didn't realize it was my daughter who enteredthe store, not that I think he would have cared. I will never enter this establishment again. I wish I could give this owner and his business 0 stars. My child has a dairy allergy and I asked for his bagel to be cut with a... different knife so it wouldn?t come into contact with butter or cheese. I was rudely refused and then the owner began to walkaway and not even take the rest of my order. I?ll never be back here again. Adding, now that I read all of the other reviews -it sounds like this rude owner is consistently providing poor service. Read more
I have been going here for years and they are extremely consistent compared to most places. Good bagels and the staff remembers... your orders. The owner is a hard worker and it seems like they have a hard time with staffing but I have always had a greatexperience here. They do sell out later in the morning so it?s better to come early. I have been coming here for years. This place used to be great but went downhill badly in recent years. The food is decent now.... Recently, I got breakfast sandwiches. They were $15 for two?.I?m pretty sure you can go out to eat for that price. Additionallythis Manhattan bagel does not answer their phone, ever. The owners are a couple and always there and are not the friendliesteither. I will not be going back ever again after this most recent price raise. Read more
