High end feeling venue in Niagara on the lake. Very good selection of wine. Venue can be a bit cool on initial entry (perhaps... for the wine). When I went there, found the host a bit ?stuck up? initially but warmed and became a much more pleasantexperience as the evening wore on. The food is exceptional. There were some parts of this dinner that made me want to give this 3/5, but I settled on 4/5. The worst parts of the... night: Staff-there were barely 4 to 5 tables occupied with people, about 10 staff just wandering around, and yet no one torefill water, ask about more drinks/wine, food, etc. The staff that did eventually arrive at table were still in training-oneserver brought us a dish from the kitchen and had no idea what it was...very unprofessional. I get it-they're new, but therewere more than enough staff around to help the ones in training. Menu ambiguity-the was no way to know what you were orderingfrom the menu in terms of portion size. Ordered the duck for almost 25 CAD; it was 4 bites of duck, if that. On the other hand,ordered pate and bread for 15 CAD or so-it was a whole 1/2 oz mason jar of pate and an entire loaf of bread. Visited Chef Ryan Crawford's new wine and snack bar. An extensive list of wines and an amazing tapas selection. They do various... tastings. We tried the "Amazing grapes" and "Women crushing it" samplings. The first one focuses on some different grapevarieties and the second one focuses on women winemakers. We found the second tasting really nice and we discovered some reallyinteresting wines. The tapas selection is pretty varied. We tried the duck liver mouse, dry aged pork, and croquettes. All werereally nice. This is an excellent place to discover some interesting wines, and it is hard to go wrong with the tapas on offerhere! Will be back for another tasting! Read more

Had a great time while I was there with my fiancé, the sommelier, Natasha was amazing. Personable and passionate about wine. So... knowledgeable and suggested some awesome wines. Fantastic. We had dinner there last night with two other couples. Each person picked one item from the menu to start then we... went from there. Our server helped with the portions, she was also very, very helpful with the wine selection. The food wasperfect, the ambiance was perfect and the service was perfect.
