Such an amazing dinner at Treadwell Tonight. The kitchen team and the Sous Chef are simply amazing and the service impeccable... ???? Every single courses were incredibly tasty and well executed. A plus for the salmon with sturgeon Caviar and the searedfoie gras, all the flavors are spectacular. They blew my mind. One of the best restaurant I went lately. Will come back soon forsure. Treadwell was exactly what you would expect from a 5 star restaurant. The service was spot on, the food delicious- from farm to... table, and made to order, and you can tell that a lot of effort was put into the presentation. The four course menu had plentyof options for all appetites and was reflective of the season. We will definitely be back to see what the fall menu has instore. Read more
Recommend by friends, it was fantastic. We had incredible breakfast ~ lobster eggs Benny, yum!. We had to come back next day for... lunch. Duck confit with poached duck egg…. crazy delicious. Great service, the owner on site and super helpful. And local,farm to table ingredients, perfect. Read more
The staff was incredibly nice and their prix fixe style menu came with very good options of seasonal and local inspired dishes.... Well worth the price! Their patio is extremely pleasant as well!! Read more
The meal was good but, outside of the pastry chef, nothing special. At this level and cost--I would have liked the chef to... introduce themselves and maybe an amuse-bouche and/or a palate cleanser; there wasn't either. The wine was a bit more than 3xretail mark-up and they brought a different vintage than I ordered. The atmosphere was a bit corporate and bland. Not worth it. Read more
Enjoyed a lovely lunch on a weekday. Staff is friendly and enthusiastic about the food--and for good reason. It's widely... regarded as the best restaurant in the area by locals. The food is well prepared and presented. The beet salad with hazelnutvinaigrette was excellent and they plated separately for sharing, which was very thoughtful. I had the lobster club, which wasexcellent and the portion was embarrassingly large. The sourdough is fried in duck fat and sliced very thin. This is a signaturedish and not what I would typically offer but it's also very unusual. Freshness is their hallmark. The salad on my plate wasfantastic. The greens were delightful with a simple vinaigrette and a nice complement to the rich club. The atmosphere isupscale casual. Not at all stuffy but very classy. Read more
Definitely one of the best restaurants in Ontario. My favourite place sit is at the bar looking onto the kitchen. Seeing the... chefs move is like dinner and a show. Typically a set menu, but really some amazing combinations of favours! They are a greattwist on classics would appeal to foodies and less adventurous eaters alike.
