Found this place more like combo of pub and pizza parlor. There a banquet room, dinning area. Nice size crew include 3 part... cook kitchen crew. The place is small, but nice with at home appeal to the place. Finding this place is not hard, located rightacross from ball park. Dinning area nice for family. With the banquet area great for call ahead and setup for party, birthday,sports .The place handed down with founder Sam Musilino 1962. What sets this out from the others. Is that it's on the off track,not sandwich into tourist drama that found here in Niagara Falls. Sammy is definitely place need check out. Read more
Traveling through and had to make a meatball sandwich stop. Food was hot and fresh. Tuna melt was made to perfection and Tim... was kind to customize to my special request to add tomato. Meatballs were seasoned perfectly. We will look forward to tryingNY style pizza on our next trip. Feedback to owner: Food took a little while to make even though there wasn?t really anyone inthere when we came, dining area seemed to need a little cleaning, and the old building would be hard to navigate in a wheelchairsituation. We were visiting niagara falls and the hotel suggested sammys pizza. For some reason it qouldnt let me order online so I called.... The lady did really good even though she sounded very new. They didn't have the cheese for stuffed crust and had to see if theyhad regular crust ????. We ordered 1 large pizza 1/2 pep 1/2 mushroom plus fried mushrooms and the fried dough pieces. Ok for 1the mushrooms were BOMB AF. dipped in ranch too. We ate almost all of them on the way back to the hotel lol. The fried doughpieces were so good too even though it was supposed to come with sauce but they were out. But good without it. And the portionswere incredible especially for the price. The pizza was amazing too. Even though I wanted the stuffed crust the regular crustwas great. The lady that checked us out wasn't so friendly and was kinda snotty when I asked about the sauce for the doughpieces. Almost like how dare you ask for something that we didn't tell you we are out of. The food is so worth it though. Weeven had a few pieces left over along with some fried dough pieces that we took home. The next day we heated them up (frieddough we ate cold and it was so good) the pizza tasted just as it did when we first got it. I'm so amazed. Read more
The food is great and our waitress, Robin was the best. We had fried zucchini which was out of this world, we also had a medium... cheese and capicola pizza was the best I've had since I move from The Bronx to California. They say in California that it's NYstyle pizza but it's doesn't even come close. Go to Sammy's on Hyde Park Blvd in Niagara Falls, NY and you won't bedisappointed. Best food and service around. Been since the start of covid since we've been to Sammy's. Living in Kitchener Ontario the pizza selection is quite poor we've... been making our own. Yesterday we took our first trip to the States for an overnight stay. We had Sammy's the night we arrivedand the next day for lunch. What can I say....tastes better than I remember!! We'll always choose Sammy's as I've been goingsince I was 21. So delicious and great service!!! Tim was kind enough to store our leftovers from the previous night in thecooler for us! It's a popular spot for us Canadians who love great pizza, wings, and a cozy dive bar atmosphere. Read more
Order a 1/2 tray of cheese & pepperoni, add sausage to half. 40 minutes later, Received a 1/2 tray of cheese, pepperoni &... sausage, sausage on entire pizza. Called to let them know, they offered to send a new 1/2 tray of cheese & pepperoni, no chargeASAP. 1 hour later, received a 1/2 tray of cheese. ???????? They use to be so good, now they?re too slow, extremely inconsistentin quality and taste & not unable to fulfill an order they were paid to do. Read more
I heard about this place from a local who grew up in the neighborhood. As a visitor I can't wait to follow locals'... recommendation and that was a smart move. This pizzeria is full of character. The dough for specialty pizza is soft, mediumthick, and slightly sweet. The tomato sauce also has that subtle and delicious sweetness. The salad was refreshing despite piledup with cheese and ham which makes it filling. The wings were on the dry side. Overall a great option for anyone who isinterested in exploring local favorite and/or just look for old-fashioned homey Italian-American food. Read more
I have visited this Pizzeria on a few occasions for special events. I own a music production company and have enjoyed the... offerings of many different establishments as part of my job. Catering rarely reflects the quality of a restaurant, but myexperience with Sammy's has been positive in every respect. The pizza even on a buffet, is delicious and on point. Some of thebest around. The wings are absolutely incredible. I have tried traditional Buffalo and three other flavors offered and foundeach to be absolutely outstanding. My next visit to Sammy's will be for an individual dining experience. As good as the buffetwas, I expect that to be even better! I highly recommend Sammy's to anyone wanting a great western New York Pizza and Wingexperience. Read more
