I had a dinner with my family today few hours ago. It was very good experience. If someone is looking for Kababs of Afghan... taste, this is the best place at Niagara Falls. Honestly, I never want to leave a bad review for anyone, but I'm extremely disappointed with the order I received, and I don't... want anyone else or a family to get ripped off the way I did. I payed $56+ tax, delivery & tip for the "Family Platter." I'mlaughing at what I just received. This is maybe the equivalent of 2 normal kebab orders. It's only enough for 2 people, not even3 let alone a family of 4. Complete rip off. Will never order again. Look at the portion size compared to the normal fork andspoon in the photo. We dine there few days ago while visiting the falls and I wish we didn't, food tastes good but the restaurant has very weird... rules, first: you only allowed to order once and it doesn't matter how big your group is, we were five and the owner warned usthat I better think of all our needs now since he is not going to do anything else for us after the first order. One of my kidswanted more food but I didn't dare to ask since the man was very serious second: you only allowed 30 minutes dining after foodserve no matter what, yes, there are signs everywhere telling you that, we had to eat while timing our self, didn't enjoy thefood and we felt like unwanted guests even though we paid alot of money there, will never eat there again even if it was free. Went there with a group of 12 people in total and the host was super unwelcoming. The restaurant is super small and it was... pretty empty on that Friday evening. The food wasn?t good either. It was average. But the way the host treated us (said wecouldn?t order twice, get the drinks yourself etc) I would definitely NOT recommend anyone to come this far for halal food. Itis NOT worth it. There were so many cool restaurants on the way, nearer to the Clifton hill strip, we?d 100% have better servicein those if we went there. Horrible and Overpriced. We paid $55 for 2 small plates of rice, a bit of meat and 2 pops! The food did not taste good and was... very blant. Owner asked us if we wanted Naan with our flavorless meal...leaving us confused if Naan came with our $55 meal or ifwe had to pay extra...so we declined. After she brought the food out, the female owner and her daughter left leaving uswondering if we were alone in the restaurant. Shortly after, the music on t.v stopped and there was dead silence at the eatery.My friend said his stomach was hurting after eating a few bites of the dry meat and rice and we ran out of there...Never will wereturn to "Afghan Ok-Bob" again! I visited this restaurant today with my friend today. We had the worst food ever? we both felt sick right after having food at... this restaurant. We had to go to walk in on our way back to Toronto. We told the restaurant owner/server the the meat is rotten.She did not only disagree but she got defensive and said ?my meat is always fresh?. We asked her to taste is but she said shewas fasting and can?t taste.More than that, the service is extremely poor. I never recommend this restaurant to anyone, becauseit?s of the poor food hygiene, I?ll mannered service, and unhealthy food. If you love your health and time, don?t visit thisrestaurant. Read more
Food was good specially kabuli rice the meat in it was sooo good and tender. The family platter was also good.
