My boyfriend and I come to AlMac?s every time we stay over in Niagara Falls. It?s right near the Fallsview strip so it?s a nice... and close location. WARNING before going, you will be charged for bottled water, they do not offer glasses of water, you areonly able to order bottled Eska Water. This started because of covid protocols a couple years ago but? common it?s time to liftthat requirement along with the other covid protocols that have been lifted, paying for bottled water at a sit down restaurantis pretty much unheard of and ridiculous. The food is fairly average BUT it?s the cheapest place around so you can?t really beatit based on price. It?s basically a hotel all you can eat style breakfast. It may seem strange but it?s actually really goodeven for what it is haha, the tater tots and sausages are DELICIOUS and the dough ball puff things are unique to this place,never had anything like it they?re so good. They are frequently re filling the containers so it?s always fresh and hot too. Notpictured here but there is always a fresh food side with fruit, small desserts, yogurt etc. I?m giving it 4 stars because we?veonly ever had a pleasant experience with the waiters and waitress, the food and the price other then the bottled water andbecause of the location and convenience! It's a very cheap all you can eat option where you will find sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, pancakes, waffles, French toast... fruit, Jell-O, oatmeal, the only catch is that drinks are not included, not even tap water, so expect to add 3.99 at least for abottle of water. The service is really nice and it's usually crowded. There's no much to expect in terms of flavour for thisprice. Read more
Was excited to go here was very dissatisfied bacon so hard break your teeth eggs cold french toast hard as a rock 400 just for... coffee no water have to pay 399 for bottle was still 37 dollars for 2 was not worth it was very busy many hands hands onserving utensels no wipes to sanitize mens bathroom was dirty no paper towel and air dryer not working never will go again verydisappointed ???? This is a great place for breakfast. We enjoyed the french toast most. However, all of the food in the menu were delicious.... Drinks are not included with the buffet. But we asked for drinks separate and got refill. Drinks include coffee and juice. Read more
Visited: 21-June-2022 Breakfast Buffet: 9.99$. Drinks (Bottled water or Juice) are extra 3.99 $ . So a total of 16$ breakfast.... Other places would cost you a big bill than this. I had selected another breakfast place from my google search, but we cameacross this place accidentally while driving through the city due to their big advertisement board. This was the best and themost economical breakfast that we had at Niagara Falls. In 16$, there was so much to choose from such as Omelettes, eggs, meat,oatmeal, yogurt, fruits, waffles, hash browns, potatoes, pan cakes, sausages etc (you can see the pictures attached). Sittingarrangement was nice, both indoors and at patio. Though the drinks are extra, but based on my experience (across Canada) 16$breakfast is the best deal. Okkk, I wanted so much to put this review. I was with my husband visiting Niagara for 3 days and It was our last day before we... went back and needed to eat before we left back to Toronto. We saw this place where it was 9.99 for a breakfast but thereviews were so bad so decided not to. We went to another place and it was so noisy so we left and while driving around todecide what to eat, we came across al Mack's buffet and they have parking so we decided to check it out I asked my husband togo down and see the buffet and he came back with a good feedback so we decided to give it a try regardless of the badreviews. People, nearly all the items in the dinner buffet tasted great. I was wondering how people gave that many badreviews. I even felt it as an obligation to do this post. I can't say anything about the breakfast since we had dinner therebut if that was so good, I assume that the breakfast is good too. What I noticed is that some people complain that they chargefor water and drinks!!! People, you have to be realistic too!!! When you go to other places and pay 20 dollars for 2 eggs andsome hashbrowns + you pay for the drink too!!!! You are getting an open buffet for 10 dollars for breakfast or 20 for dinner!!!It includes salmon, muscles, etc etc.... If some of you might be wondering if I am maybe related to the owner or work there????????????, I can assure you that I don't. Just felt that the low rating was not realistic... The washrooms need renovationsfor sure and more cleaning but as a whole package, it is a great option for a limited budget. **Extra $3.00 for water or else stay thirsty** We visited this place on a long weekend around 11:30AM, we had unlimited... breakfast for $9.99+tax. All the essential breakfast food was great as they had scrambled eggs, cheesy eggs, white toast, wheattoast, rice pudding, pancakes, hashbrowns all of this were pretty good for the price but other things such as waffles, frenchtoast and fruits were not that good but have to say pancakes were really good. Also one more thing is that if you want coffee ororange juice or any other drink that is extra which is expected but they said even if you want water then it?s $3.00 which wasvery surprising and something I?ve never heard of and feels like a rip off. But still I?m giving 4 star because the food wasgood at Niagara at this price also the dining area was very clean and well maintained. Read more
