My last experience with this place was terrible. They were overwhelmed with calls during COVID, They were so incredibly rude to... everyone, I never heard so many people waiting for their food complain about a person so much and they over charged us. When Icalled to get it corrected the girl said she didn't have time and hung up. I had to call and ask for the manager. The food isjust ok but the dining area is large and clean and several waitresses are very friendly but I determined to never go there againas there are just too many options for Chinese in Niagara to deal with attitude for medicore food. Love Far East. The food is great. Family tradition for decades. But they have lost their customer service and reputation for... take out supremacy. I get it. The pas two years have been challenging if not impossible for restaurant survival. But now, if youcan't accurately quote pickup times and still make someone wait for 15-20 minutes for an order for a family of 4 that wasoriginally quoted an hour, what are you doing? (1 hour and 20 minutes total) Only doing takeout as well because of Covid..Idon't understand? It's not 2020 anymore, it's almost 2023. Let's move on people. My daughter wanted me to try Far East Chinese Restaurant for a change from my usual Chinese Restaurant for takeout (Magnolia). I... opted for chicken fried rice, a staple at most Chinese restaurants to keep it simple. At first glance I noted there were onlyonions and chicken in the rice no carrots or peas. Different. I gave it a taste and I can say with all honesty it was the worstfried rice I?ve ever had. The rice tasted stale and over cooked. The consistency made the rice packable like a snowball. Thefinishing touch was the rancid after taste. After two spoonfuls I was done. My daughter swears by Far East?s food and calledthem back to share her disappointment and ask for a refund. She was told that she would not get a refund, only another order ofthe fried rice we had just complained about. Good customer service could have perhaps involved a credit to try something else inthe future. I would have given them another chance. Based on this experience I do not recommend Far East for their food orcustomer service. Read more

So very disappointed. I have been ordering veg curry for the last 5 years and have always been so impressed. However, when I got... my order home tonight it was just celery and onion. Where did the broccoli, carrots and peppers go? When I called to ask I wastold this is how they always do it. I let them know that I?ve never received it like this and why would I pay $12 for onions andcelery. I really am amazed that they truly could care less. First of all I?m paying $12 for chicken curry minus the chicken,seriously you can?t throw in some veggies!!! Lost my business. Zero stars. Read more
