They used to have all you can eat lunch and dinner menus. The prices were good and the place was always crowded. They have now... changed to a Gourmet Chinese cuisine. The menu prices have increased a lot. We can easily get a table now and no reservationsare needed. We ordered the salty fish fried rice and the Cantonese style fried noodles which both tasted good.  We like thefried rice which had very strong salty fish flavours. We haven't been able to find this kind of flavour in the area. The serversare always nice and friendly. Read more

My family and I took advantage of the nice weather at the weekend to visit the Niagara Falls to avoid the long weekend rush and... were pleasantly surprised to find Golden Lotus reopened. The last time we visited here was before the epidemic when they hadjust cancelled the buffet. I don't know how many of you were as surprised as we were when you first saw the menu at theentrance, but believe me, the menu at the entrance is just their "treasure", whether you want to try Chinese haute cuisine or ahome-cooked meal, they have it all, and it's authentic and we love it. We ordered the beef tendon, fresh geo duck in 2 courses, some vegetable and their waiter's recommendation of the day was the stew soup and the hand-teared chicken with sesame, whichwere superb. We will visit again next time when we are here and will recommend it to our friends and to everyone. To save timeyou can make reservations in advance as they are not fully open yet. We waited almost 25 minutes for a table when we went for aparty of 8. Read more

Golden Lotus is back!!! After having to close temporarily because of covid, Golden Lotus is once again serving up their... authentic and flavourful Chinese dishes. Everything we ordered was extremely fresh and we did not have to wait long for ourfood. The menu is very big and has options to suit everyone in your party. Make sure to try their noodle and rice dishes aswell. They are a must and are listed on their "specials" menu. Cannot wait to go back. Great food with a great view of thefalls!! Will be back for sure. Read more

I HIGHLY suggest everyone choose somewhere else, don?t eat here! Dined in with my parents and boyfriend, was very disappointed... with their food. As everyone says, it is overpriced Chinese food that want to be seen as fine dining. Portions aren?t a lot andthe wait time can be 20-30mins for 3 items which we ordered the fried rice, beef stir fry and fried chicken. Food costs around40-50CAD after tax for each plate which is ridiculous for their terrible taste and portion wise. However, I will say the beefwas very tender and soft which made it amazing? if it wasn?t paired with a overpowering sauce that did not taste good. You?llget better service and food from the food court downstairs that is 3x less from what they classify as fine dining. Save yourmoney! Read more

Went here on a Saturday night while in town for work. I had a voucher as part of our accommodations package which caused some... confusion but the staff were very friendly, and we received prompt and VERY attentive service. The ambiance is nice, we wereseated quickly with a bit of a view of the falls through the trees. The food was good, not incredible, but better than anythingelse I?ve had while in town. We really liked the fried prawns on toast. There are some luxury items that are priced very high.Generally it?s a bit expensive, sure, but it?s Niagara Falls, it?s to be expected. The food tasted fresh and seemed highquality, the service was good and all in all we had a nice time. Read more
