Good discount for locals, just ask them to remove the tourist tax if you are from the Niagara region. The portion of the omlette... dishes can be too much sometimes for one person and can feed two people very well. The strawberry milkshake was very tasty andfilling. AVOID!! Food was as expected, service was good, till I queried what the NFDF was. I specifically asked if it as a mandatory... fee. First I received the response that "it's charged to everyone." I asked AGAIN is it mandatory. Was told "everyone in NFcharges it". I showed my Niagara Parks receipt and another restaurant receipt which didn't have this. Then I was told "it's onthe menu so you agreed to it." I asked them to point it out on the menu - they pointed me to something in very small(unreadable) font - check out my picture to see how small it is even when I had taken a zoomed in picture of the menu. Ifinally asked to speak to a manager about this outrageous charge. The hostess disappeared and returned within 30 seconds sayingher manager was in a meeting and here was my NFDF fee refunded. The pancakes were awesome, but being completely honest, the price was terrible. 2 drinks and 2 sets of pancakes came to around... $70 Canadian. Definitely not the price I recall having been in the US over the years. The variety and menu is good but I wasabsolutely stunned by the prices. When your average price of pancakes is north of $20 each it's really steep to justify.Epically nowadays with the economy. The service wasn't that great, I had to remind my server about 3-4 times about getting anice water and cream for my coffee as she kept forgetting and getting sidetracked. It was relatively busy in the late morning atthis location but I really didn't receive much service from my server. I personally just wasn't impressed and wouldn't returnanytime soon.
