I really wanted to like this place more, cute and quaint looking spot off the strip. We were a larger group (around 10) with... kids and booked for 6:30 PM on Saturday night. When booking, the employee we spoke to (think it was the owner) told us theirpatios were all booked up but they had a larger table in their "basement" but there's no A/C. Okay, all good except weird sincewe later found out the whole restaurant is only one floor. When we arrived, the inside of the restaurant was empty and therewas plenty of space outside. We liked having the big table but would have preferred sitting outside, feel like we were lied tothat the patio was reserved. Service was not quick but was fine, seems they only had 3 staff working but hey it's not a bigplace. The pizzas were so-so, I've had a lot of Neapolitan pizzas over the years considering half my family is Italian. Decentelements, they just need better execution. There was also something off with the crust, not enough moisture I think, it cameout far too dry. We also ordered a Caesar salad which was small-medium size and not worth it, do not recommend. Aside from thefood being so-so, the lack of transparency is also disappointing, with the reservations and with drink prices (which are notshown on their menu). Aperol Spritz's - $16.50 and were nothing special. Bottles of Peroni were $8.50, no beer on tap. Notsure about wine prices but why not be upfront and have it on the menu? Read more
This is a family owned restaurant, which is cozy and warm. I enjoyed the location, and we could even see the Niagara falls... fireworks (summer round). The dough they use is good, though I felt like the pizza topping is lacking in quantity - don't get mewrong, it is good, but I really expected the pizza to be more generous on salami. Same for the calzone, there was a good amountof cheese, but other ingredients were a bit missing. Maybe some toppings will be more generous, but the main ones we had, whichwere meat related, were a bit shy. Read more
My experience at this pizzeria was somewhat disappointing. The owner and his wife were friendly enough but the quality of the... pizza just didn't cut it. We drove a very long way to enjoy pizza that came highly recommended but what we got was subpar. Weordered the Capricciosa pizza and two beers. We received a pizza with no mozzarella on it! The flavor of the dough was good butthe sauce was just ok. The pizza itself had very few toppings and I repeat no mozzarella. I definitely felt what we receivedwasn't worth the almost $80 we paid or the distance we traveled. I'm not normally one to complain, but I was a little mad! Read more

This place was great. We ordered a caprese salad, calzone and pizza. They make an amazing thin crust pizza. The server was very... friendly and accommodating. She even brought us dessert on the house! Would highly recommend especially if you like authenticItalian cuisine. Read more
This is the best pizza this side of the Atlantic, bar none. I absolutely love Il Sorriso, and if I lived closer, I would go... there multiple times a week. The pizza is incredible; crispy, flavorful, with authentic Italian ingredients, and made in anauthentic Italian pizza oven. No matter who I bring to this place, every pizza is devoured in its entirety, there is never aneed for a take home box. Would recommend to anyone visiting Niagara Falls, from near or far! Read more
Yummy pizza and gnocchi. We saw the chef come out and pick fresh basil for our dishes from the herb garden in the front of the... restaurant. Don?t miss the homemade tiramisu - it melts in your mouth, just the right amount of sweetness. Read more
