Food was great but not amazing. Burrata pizza had fresh, creamy burrata but it also had a lukewarm crust that was slightly too... thick and chewy at the end. Clams in my vongole were overcooked and rubbery but the broth was thick and flavorful. I would haveappreciated more broth though. The semi-dry Riesling was a show stopper and a must try. Read more
I am delighted to report I found one of the best Italian restaurants in Ontario. My partner found this place while we were... searching for a place to eat, and we decided to give it a try as it was one of the few restaurants in the Niagara Falls with agood rating. I was surprised as soon as I stepped inside, as the outdoor space looked more generic and nothing special. Therestaurant is actually a lot bigger than it looks from the outside, and the indoor is really well decorated. I appreciated thedim lighting of the indoor space and all the paintings on the walls. The restaurant felt like an upscale, family restaurant typeof vibe. In terms of the space and the seating, it's definitely big enough to host multiple big groups but it's also an idealdining space for couples too. I ordered a glass of vino and my partner and I ordered meatballs and sausages to share. For themain course, I ordered a mushroom risotto that was on the specials for that day. The complementary bread that was served was agood hint to the quality of the food that was about to be served. It was perfectly seasoned and was delicious with olive oilthat was served with the bread. The meatballs and the homemade sausages along with the tomato sauce, were also really wellseasoned and perfectly cooked; they both had good texture and the right amount of moisture inside. The portion of the meatballsand the sausages was generous, it would have been enough for three people as a starter. I was really, really happy with therisotto. The rice had the perfect texture; it definitely had a bite to it, but it was soft to chew and just perfectly cooked.The overall creaminess of the risotto and the texture and the flavour of the mushrooms worked really well together to create abalanced, delicious meal. It is the best risotto I've ever had and I think it will be very hard to find a restaurant in Ontariothat can serve up a better cooked risotto than the one I had at Napoli Ristorante. Incredible authentic Italian meal. We ordered a pizza and salad, bolognese, pomodoro with meatballs and tiramisu. The handmade... pasta was cooked perfect to Al dente and the sauces were so fresh.
