Great experience every time I go! By far one of the best cafes in East Lyme. Friendly customer service, vibrant and authentic... atmosphere with a very nice touch of indie music. Friendly attentive service. I love eating on their patio in summer. (Cheerful yellow market umbrellas make it easy to find.)... Their patio garden is filled with zinnias, and sunflowers creating a beautiful buffer from busy Main Street. Read more
This place is great - I love coming here. The staff are always wonderful. The food is delicious and they have several great... vegan options. They do close for the month of February due to the lack of foot traffic. The outdoor seating area is beautifulwith lots of flowers and plants. The indoor seating is spacious with a few booths too. I?ve been here a few times. I usually grab a flavored latte and sandwich before heading to the beach. Never had any issues and... everything always come out great. Sometimes the line can be slow to move but other than that I enjoy stopping by when I?m in thearea. Read more
The appearance of the inside of the Cafe is quaint, but it isn't a fast-food type of place. The line of people extended to the... edge of the sidewalk. The workers were knowledgeable of the menus and were good at making suggestions. I ordered an iced lattewith sugar and a cinnamon bagel, toasted with butter. The coffee was handed to me first, without any sugar. I went to ask forsugar, and the server asked me if I had ordered it with sugar. I responded I had, but after she added the sugar, it didn'tchange the bitterness and awfulness of that drink, so I threw it away and waited for the rest of my order. Once I received thecinnamon bagel, it was so hard to bite into that I had to pull pieces off to eat it, and it did not taste fresh. I was verydisappointed, and I won't be visiting there anymore. This is our second stay in Niantic which we love. One if the best perks of staying there is just across the street is the best... coffee experience in my over 50 yrs of coffee shops and Cafe visits. The manager is happy. Genuinely happy! Her energytranscends and radiates to her staff. 8 am she is perking than the amazing, delicious coffee they serve. Just makes everythingbetter! Definitely my to go place for the best coffee and food. Love that it is all organic too!! Give it a try, even if it'sjust for the smiles and happiness!! You won't be dissapppinted! Read more
