Went there for any pie and a tiramisu. You would think since its a bakery they have a decent selection of baked goods. Turns out... it?s a bakery with no pies (they had two pies in an otherwise empty fridge that didn?t look fresh at all) and a tiramisu thatturned out to be just a coffee flavoured cake that tastes nothing like tiramisu. Very poor customer service ! Young 15-16 years old girl was sweeping the area before closing 8 PM , with dirty hand she gave me... desserts without wearing any gloves . I didn?t say nothing , after she overpriced one pastry i said I dont need it I thoughtshe didn?t charged me , but she did for the dessert I didn?t get . When i asked the receipt , she said she closed the ticketagain without asking me if i needed it. Delicious homemade pastry, bagels and more. They also offer homemade grinders and breakfast to go.
Just had a chicken Parm grinder that was a disaster. Totally room temp not the slightest bit warm. The cheese slices were not... even melted and the chicken seemed processed and hard. The Italian bread was not even sliced evenly down the middle so thegrinder was all lopsided and hard to eat. Must have taken less than a minute to put this joke together Read more
I ordered a meatless grinder from Guilianos recently and requested no cheese. For over $8.00 the grinder consisted of chopped... lettuce and 2 ultra thin tomato slices. That was it! Do they not have chopped onions, olives, fresh peppers, any othervegetables??? The place used to be fabulous- no more. Read more
Definitely a place to get your sweet tooth satisfied but that's not all. They have great breakfast sandwiches or grinders. I eat... here often just had one mishap. I'm allergic to nuts and a muffin wasn't clearly labeled to tell it had nuts. I bought it. Bitit and bit into a Walnut. But other than that I am highly satisfied with their yummy food. Used to go here alot when I lived in state but was never my favorite, Hartford giant grinder where everything is super fresh... and great portions is the go to only 2 blocks away but unfortunately it was Sunday and they were closed so I thought I'd give itanother try. Disappointing is an understatement for this $10 chicken cutlet sandwich! A tiny piece of grisly tough frozenchicken patty and brown lettuce, that is just soooo wrong in every sense that the employee, an older lady whom is probably oneof the owners, making this sandwich feels that is acceptable and edible to sell to their customers, so gross!!!! Disgusting isan understatement, shame on you! And I caught the young cashier over charging me for the chips and 2 deserts I got along withthis horrible sandwich!!!You lost my business forever!!!
