This review is regarding my experience early on when this place had recently opened. I feel this place is just okay. The... atmosphere and space is posh and modern. Whoever designed the place did a superb job. But the food was just meh. It claims to bean international fusion restaurant but I feel the dishes are quite basic and the international \"influence\" on the dish will besomething like an *exotic fruit* reduction... I just expected more exciting dishes. I had a seafood pasta which was a very largeportion size. It was overwhelming and I didn\'t care too much for its presentation. The bread that they provide was not good.Too airy and crunchy. Wasn\'t sure how to enjoy it with the sauce they provided. Another thing I do not understand is the juicebar aspect of this place. I don\'t have any experience with it but it also did not look like there was a juice bar within thisrestaurant. All in all, the food did not meet my expectations but maybe I just had too high of expectations for this place.Staff and atmosphere were great though. Read more
The food, the servers, the decorations, and the seatings where absolutely phenomenal. This place is a hidden gem. I wouldn\'t... have known this place existed if it wasn\'t for my recent trip to Rocky Neck. If I find my way back up North, I will definitelybe back. Read more

What a perfect restaurant! The ambience is great… The music is wonderful & The food is absolutely scrumptious!\n\nI’m going... to share pictures of the menu and the two hors d’oeuvres I got for my lunch! The tuna tartare was absolutely perfect! In thepara la Bonita was sublime… deep rich tomato sauce oh my goodness all of it was just wonderful!\n\nDefinitely check it out foryourself you won’t be disappointed! Everything on the menu was deliciously enticing! Our food was delicious, place was beautiful, service was great, but our server... was eh. The other servers were more attentive and professional, letting their guests know what the specials were etc. Willdefinitely return! Read more
I have the opportunity to be at Rossa Negra!!! to celebrate my husband’s birthday. I high recommend this beautiful, charming,... modern new spot in New London County.
