Stopped by after leaving the beach. They offer a ton of dining options but I mainly came here for the lobster roll. It’s a... good deal, you get the roll, fries and Cole slaw for around 20 dollars. I ordered it warm and you’re able to pour the butteron the sandwich yourself. It was good, quality lobster meat and great toasted bun. I would definitely comeback for the lobsterroll again Read more

I had the fried scallops roll, my husband had the fisherman's platter. Not cheap, but tasty. Kid friendly too, and ice cream.

Cute little seafood shack on the side of a busy road, overlooking the water and the Amtrak train line. There a good selection of... food, and due to current times, a little on the pricey side. The portions however make up for that and the quality is good. Theyoffer your typical fried seafood fare, fried chicken, burgers, hot dogs, many different sides, and they even havemilkshakes. There is inside and outside seating and onsite parking that is limited and a little tight. All in all an enjoyablelittle spot that's good for adults and kids. Read more

Great location and had good reviews but was disappointed with the food. Good news is that the portions were good sized and clam... strips were pretty full. Bad news is the batter for fish and clam strips were pretty greasy. Also ordered the fried mushroomswhich i would avoid at all costs next time, tasted freezer burnt and batter / texture was very coarse and mealy. Wouldn't goout of my way to come back but good enough if in the area and can't wait. Read more

Took one bite of the burger, could not do another bite. Terrible! Two bites of the lobster bisque, again awful! My husband... ordered the fish and chips, said it was okish. I would definitely not recommend. I spent the day at the beach nearby, and wantedto support local business in the area, and also enjoy the scenery as I don't live here. But this was definitely a waste of $50 Read more

After a wonderful day at Harkness Memorial Park in October I stopped at Skippers which is open all year. They are known for... fast fun seafood platters and many other choices. I placed my order for the clam strip platter, went out to the deck andselected my table, waited about 10 minutes and I was called to the pickup window to find this heaping plate of clams and fries!Delicious and hot. Coleslaw and tartar sauce accompanied the dish. You can also eat inside. I say give them a try you will be sohappy! Read more

The fried fish at Skipper's was just fantastic...we ate there twice during our 3 day stay. And even though seafood is their... speciality, we cant stop thinking about the grilled chicken too. A must-visit if you are in the area. Read more

Visiting Waterford, CT and wanted some seafood. Stopped at Skippers in Niantic, right across from the water. Outdoor and indoor... eating, but it was really warm out, so we ate on the patio. A great selection of seafood, reasonable prices, with friendly andquick service. It was terrific having lunch by the water and enjoying some great tasting fresh seafood. Highly recommend. Read more
