The food was horrible. When I walked in at noon and there were only a few people sitting at the bar and the dining room was... empty. It was definitely a sign I should have headed right back out the door. I ordered a margarita that tasted like watereddown tequila with nothing but lime pulp. The waitress was going to take it off my tab but the bartender insisted on makinganother that tasted like there was no liquor at all which resulted in a refund. Now on to the meal?I ordered the fajitas bowl.The chicken was bland, the overcooked cilantro lime rice was missing the cilantro and the lime. Server was friendly. Garlic parmesan fries were very good. Garlic parmesan broccoli is a must try. Fish and chips were good but... not the best I've ever had. Nice atmosphere. There is a bar, but it is family friendly. Read more
Amazing food and amazing service from Kylee. I got the Mac Daddy burger based on her suggestion and it was one best burgers I've... ever had. Perfectly cooked medium well. The chicken tenders tossed in Firecracker sauce was the perfect spiciness, and theGridiron wings were perfectly crispy. Nice neighbourhood spot; very friendly service, although some servers are more on point than others. (i.e. forgetting... drinks/offering refills; incorrect order; forgetting certain items ordered altogether). The Angus Hamburger is amazing, howeverfirst time I ordered it (medium rare) it was literally stone cold raw (like steak tartare) in the middle. Unfortunately, it wasa take away order and didn?t see the inside of my hamburger until I got home. Next time I ordered it (we were dining in), I toldthe waitress about my previous burger?she was very specific about how I wanted it cooked and I wasn?t disappointed that timearound. Their chili is excellent. Husband has ordered their wings and says the way they are cooked is hit or miss as well;varied from crispy and tough (bone in wings) to just ?okay? (boneless wings) which I found ironic for a Wings Restaurant. Mustbe dependent on who is cooking that day. I, myself, have not had their wings?just not a big fan of wings unless they are fromHooters. Good selection of sauces for their wings. Decent prices. Clean establishment. We will definitely go back (at least Iwill) for the chili and the Angus Burger?just be very specific how you want it cooked and check your to go orders for accuracy.Don?t think hubby is as big a fan as I am?perhaps I will need to steer him towards something else on the menu besides the wings. This place is amazing, the food was awesome, the staff was very friendly, the restaurant is very clean, great parking, outside... seating, wheelchair accessible, cash or credit cards accepted, this place is set up like a beach resort, surfboard tables,booths , The restrooms are very clean, very great atmosphere, I give this place a five star we loved it. Ate there while bands of Hurricane Ida hit the gulf coast. Great food and service. The bar had excellent pours. Lots of TVs all... around. Definitely would eat there again. Restaurant was clean and the staff was excellent!! Read more
Today was our first visit to Hurricane, and I am so glad that we followed up after being told it was a great place to eat. The... server Shayde, was on top of her game, she made us feel comfortable answered our questions, provided excellent service.
