I do enjoy the food here but I oftentimes dread coming because I never know what kind of mess will greet me. They are fast to... take my order but I can usually count on a 15-20 minute wait to receive my order even if I'm only ordering one sandwich formyself. There isn't even a very suitable area to wait here. They usually apologize but it seems they give out more apologiesthan expedient service. Read more
I asked for a grilled cheese with a bowl of tomato soup and got the four cheese melt instead and half of a bowl of soup. Was... very disappointed considering I waited 20 minutes for my order. No where near worth the $20 it cost. Read more
The 5 star review is for the counter host, Kenyale. She was such a dear & provided a sample of Mccalister's tea before I decided... to purchase a gallon. We were parched from our birthday beach trip, & the tea & kids lemonades were perfect. Oan, the otheremployees were too involved in their personal conversations to offer any modicum of a greeting. Hopefully Kenyale will be therethe next time we return to the area. Read more
My fiance was so excited to bring me here! After devouring (half of ) my Choose Two: Memphian and Grilled Chicken Ceasar Salad... (had to leave room for dessert!) , I could see why! My sweetheart had The French Dip with Sea Salt Spuds. He was like a wildanimal once he sunk his teeth into the first bite! He left nothing behind! Lol! Definitely coming back! Oh! I enjoyed a nice lunch in a clean restaurant. The portions were generous and the dressing distinctively good. I shared a... Southwestern salad and had the chili lime dressing. It has a good zing. The seats near the windows are bright and add to therefreshing feel of a meal here. Funny thing to note but the water was actually fresh. Some restaurants have great food and stalewater. Friendly staff here goes above and beyond to accommodate! They know the menu well and can help you with selections if you have... certain dietary restrictions. Excellent food and just an all around great place! The potatoes are huge!! It's like getting twopotatoes in one and the salads are lovely and if you can't finish they give you a nice container to take the rest home in! Read more
This place went downhill bad. Last time I was there the king club was literally as tall as my 32oz drink. It was piled high with... meat and delicious. That was then. This time I went in to order what I thought would be another delicious sandwich; what I wasbrought was not even close. The "king" club was half the size of it's former glory and when I questioned the lack of meat, I wasmet with apathy.
