Our family loves Cracker Barrel. Our family of 5 (2 parents, 2 young kids, 1 infant) went on a Sunday late morning after... church. We waited about 15 minutes for a table, which was fine. The table the hostess led us to was in a corner by the window.Unfortunately, the window blinds were broken, so the sun was glaring on us uncomfortably the entire meal. We had to all 5 squishon one small area of the table, which was eventually bathed in sun as well. the sun was blinding and very warm. The server nevernoticed the issue nor offered to remedy it. She was otherwise very Kind and helpful. It was not a fun experience! Read more

The server and the manager were huge disappointments!! Not what I'm use to from cracker barrels restaurants. It surprises &... disappoints me how many servers don't know the daily special when asked. That should be one of the first things a server findsout coming on duty. A couple of tips, take water to your tables when you go to get their order. Do you realize how many refillsof pop or tea that small jester saves you, plus gives the customer something to drink till you get back? It's not that hard tounderstand how it would save you money. When I complained my daily special was cold and that I had not got the water I askedfor, I got a smirk from the manager, no water still, My husband was done eating when my food returned. My server returned andasked if id like a refill I said yes she said you just want it in a to-go cup so you can go? I laughed and said yea sure whynot, I said I guess I don't get to have dessert then? Since we were pretty much pushed out the door, she didn't get a tip eitherfor the horrendous service, and the terrible attitude and I never did get water. 20 min later my husband was vomitinguncontrollably. You guessed it! Food poisoning! Thanks, cracker barrel, what an experience! Should have known cold food wouldcause food poisoning. It was meatloaf! Maybe the state health board would like to have a bug put in their ear about this certainrestaurant! Do better!!!! If anyone contacts me about this, it had better not be the manager that was on duty Nov 1st!!!! Sheneeds fired!! Read more

Server and food were great. Tyler was awesome. However when we went to check out the two young cashiers were fiddling around... with stuff and after 5 minutes of just standing there, I said can someone check us out, the two young people looked at eachother and the girl rolled her eyes at us and then I asked for a manager and what luck but the girl?s grandmother or at least sheacted like her grandma did nothing to please me and was wondering what the problem really was. If calling corporate would do anygood I would. Will not eat there EVER again. Don?t bother letting them know when there is a problem because they won?t fix it. Read more

So after a bad experience at the Winchester Rd cracker barrel we decided to try this one. I am just as disappointed with this... location. Waited for a while, chocked that up to they were busy. Finally got to order waited for quite a while for our food. Iordered the country fried steak with eggs and hashbrown casserole this should also come with biscuits and gravy. She orderedpancakes and bacon. The food came out cold they ran out of gravy never brought my biscuits. Now keep in mind this is Sundaymorning. I am not the smartest guy in the world but if I managed a restaurant that's largest seller is gravy I would probablymake sure I didn't run out. Read more

Our wait to receive the food was unusually long. I ordered the Grandmas' Sampler. My meal was literally on the verge of being... cold. The butter would not even melt on the pancakes, meat was cold to the touch, as were the eggs. The only part of my mealthat was properly warm was the apples. Another person in our party ordered the chicken dumplings. Server was notified, andwithin 1 minute she brought out a new plate that was extremely hot. This begs the question: why was mine so cold, even when wewaited so long to even get the food? It was clearly made, and then sat for an inordinate amount of time waiting for others'food in our party to be prepared. Not a good excuse. My meal was taken off the bill, only because I refused to eat anything inthat restaurant. THEN, I went to pay my bill using the QR code on my receipt (my wife's food - by the way her toast was hard asa brick). It took me directly to the CB website, but not to the pay portion. I even tried to find "pay your bill online", andit was not available. The entire visit was A TOTAL JOKE! Bye Bye Cracker Barrel. You won't be getting any more of my money! Read more

I stopped in around 2 weeks ago on a Friday with a friend to get breakfast to go. We ordered on the app so we had no idea what... we were walking in on. The place smelled horrid. Of a backed up sewage line. I got nauseous while standing inside just waitingfor our food. I had to go stand by the door. When I food did come out, I had to double check everything and go back insidebecause neither myself or my friend got our biscuits or bacon with our meal when it was literally a biscuit, bacon and friedapple meal. Hopefully they do better in the future and get the smell cleaned up. Read more

Why does Cracker Barrel Corporate request more info on these reviews? They never follow up... Where do I start? The food we did... receive was delicious. That being said... there was a consistent foul smell in the restaurant. Ten minutes to get drinks. Mycoke tasted flat, server asked if something was wrong. I told her the drink tasted weird. No offer of exchange. Ordered friedpickles and biscuit beignets with our drinks. Fifteen minutes later apps arrived. Beignets were hot, fried pickles extremelycold. I reported that to her. She said they just came out. Our son reiterated that they were definitely cold. She said again, they just came out there is no way they are cold and walked away. She took our order wo writing it down. I ordered chicken friedchicken with extra gravy, turnip greens w vinegar, dumplins, and croutons instead of biscuits. She looked at me and said "Well, that's weird but ok". Hubby's salad arrived, he had to ask for silverware. We also flagged her down for more coke. Meanwhile, dirty dishes from our apps remained piled up at the end of our table during entire dinner service. Three of four meals arrivedwith silverware for 3. We reminded delivery person we were missing one meal, mine, and we needed a 4th fork. While everyone wasfinishing up their meal mine arrived. Chicken fried chicken, no gravy, w half an order of green beans, & dumplins, no fork. Weflagged our server, again, and asked for the extra gravy, turnip greens, vinegar, croutons, and fork. Hubby's coke was empty butat this point we were not expecting any refills. The rest of the food arrived, minus the gravy, when everyone else was finishedwith dinner. Still had to ask for gravy and fork. If Server is new I feel bad for her. Never a visit from a manager. If staff isnew they obviously need support. Food timely delivered was good. Read more
