I ordered two hotdogs with everything no french fries. The buns were not steamed they were cold, one hotdog had onions and... mustard with dill pickles sport peppers and tomato the other one had sweet relish and mustard with tomatoes dill pickle andsport peppers. I don?t know what happened but both of them were supposed to have everything on them and they were each missingone condiment. Very disappointing. Dear Frank's was so so. I had their Char Dog and it was good. Ordered cheese fries. The fries were pretty warm but they pile... this goop of cold ( Merk's) supposedly on top. It was disgusting. I returned my fries for a refund. Read more
I got the patty melt. I asked for it with cheddar instead of American cheese. The patty was completely dry and flavorless. No... seasoning at all, not even a teeny bit of salt when they were cooking it, I don?t know how they managed to get every drop ofjuice out of it but they did. The cheddar cheese turned out to be a spreadable cheddar, which I actually like. And thespreadable cheddar is usually really tangy, but it was so thin I could barely see it or taste it. And the onions were cooked formaybe 30 seconds on the grill. Grilled onions are supposed to be soft and caramelized, these were much closer to raw onions. My boss loves this place and we visit often loving the short walk and friendly service. What makes it delicious and a wonderful... visit is the classic Chicago style dogs and modern take! I love a char dog and it?s perfect here! I love Impossible burgers andthey serve them here! I love clever ideas and the Gyros Dog was so good! Fries are fresh and the order huge. Everyone is supernice and it?s just a great place to go! All of this amazing tucked into a little corner in Niles. So worth a walk or drive! Read more
This was my first time experience . For $1I including tax?s a got a Thursday?s gyro special and was tasty And came with... decent amount of fries plus drink . You?ll need condiment (salt)the fries to get the maximum flavor of the fries cuz the friesare plain fries but fresh. UPDATE: After going few more times the taste changed . I only had a hot dog and cheese fries. They have char-dogs and the regular boiled hot dogs. Char-dog was very good. I also got... cheddar fries. The fries were good, but I was not a fan of the cheese. I think it was Merkts cheddar. I am more a fan of therunnier, less sharp cheese. Read more
