Twice I've been to this Niles location and today I waited 45 minutes for my online order AFTER the promised time, and this was... the shortest wait I've experienced. My first visit took more than 1 hour & 20 minutes, including a second round in thedrive-thru after one out of the two meals ordered was completely left out. Imagine waiting almost an hour for them to forgethalf the order. Today will probably be the last time I order from them for a long while. I tried to use the Popeye?s app many times today (07-19-22) and it wasn?t working. I go into the store and the girl Behind the... counter said that is a third source company. I used this app 4 or 5 times prior to this experience! I have always used theNiles, MI location. I had several points racked up from my previous trips but they said they couldn?t use them now. Red beans and rice were like refried beans. Dry and yuck. My chicken thigh I couldn't even eat. The meat was dried out. Like... under the heat lamp for hours. This was Niles store. Love the one in Benton Harbor. Really disappointed, and I spent 14.00 Won'tgo there again.???? Read more
I ordered online and I waited for fresh chicken. No problem. Part that got me upset is when I seen employees grab food without... tongs. No matter if you have gloves on or not. They have tongs. But won?t use them. Biscuits. Chicken. All of it. I worked in arestaurant and if you touch cups. Or buttons. Or register. Or anything not related to food we had to change gloves. I come here a lot. Order the same thing. So I know how much it is every time. Tonight made the same order minus one item and it... cost me more. I questioned it. It was the lady first day on the job and with the assistance of a manager that was handledimmediately you take care of. But I got to say that young lady handled it like a pro without confusion like she's been doing itfor years. January 16th 2022. About 630 pm. They were very rude and mean when we asked questions about the menu items and kept interrupting... when we were ordering and lied about their prices. Would not recommend going here. Read more
Updating my review. After many months this place has gotten worse. I would not consider it a real Popeye's. Even the chicken... sandwiches are way smaller than other places. My family ate here last week and everyone got sick. My kid had to stay home fromschool. Was so happy to have a Popeye's in Niles, but this place shouldn't even count. South bend isn't great, but at leastyou get what your supposed to and not food poisoning. Don't leave without checking your order. They made my sandwich out of afew strips and didn't give me all of my order. I love Popeyes and this was a pathetic effort. Will be contacting manager. Read more
