Booked a 'deluxe' room. Had to double check once I got there my husband and I were so shocked. Under the amenities when I booked... it stated hot tub, fireplace, flat screen, etc. None of that was true. Hosts seemed unbothered by the misleading booking we weregiven, and seemed to almost want to deter us from staying there. We felt so uncomfortable we didn't stay a single night. Read more

Very elegant, high-class dining experience. My partner & I showed up in our wrinkled hiking clothes on our way back from Bella... Coola, looking for a place to eat late in the evening. Though we were too late for dinner, the gentleman/waiter spoke to thechef and told us we were welcome to stay if we wanted the salmon. He was very kind to us, even though other guests wereobviously judging our class (we're talking a gold plate and urn full of peacock feathers kind-of-place here). The pesto salmonwas incredible, and reasonably priced for such a meal. He even offered to call ahead to find us accommodations along the road. Iloved the Purple Columbine flowers out front as well, and the waterfront view from the window was very pleasant! Read more

Was scheduled to arrive late and called ahead to let them know I would be late. When I arrived, the gentleman was happily... waiting for me, brought me to my room and showed the amenities (I.e. how to use the satellite TV and where the washroom was).The room was clean, comfortable and had a nice view of the lake. Absolutely glorious, at the lake where the birds play and the fish jump all day. I chose to stay at the "Cottage" , tucked away... from the main buildings right on the lakefront. Beautiful secluded relaxing location, wide open sky. Short drive in to AnahimLake to the General Store and gas station. Read more
